Usage

This template places all pages using it in Category:Rift-Planes of Telara and Category:Objects, plus one of the subcategories of Category:Objects by Zone. On the Objects by Zone pages, {{Rift|OZ}} will add it to the parent category (if it was redlinked).

Normally, all links to Object pages should use {{RiftObject|object_name}} so that, if we ever do get a db for objects and they move to a namespace, such as Rift Object:, one edit to the linker template will fix all object references in all pages. For this reason, please avoid using [[object_name (Rift Object)]].

Notice that places= and coordinates= are missing? That is because we decided that it would be too much trouble. For resource nodes there would be hundreds, and for quest objects they are on the in-game map. If it is TRULY needed, add the places and/or coordinates in the wiki text below the template call.

zones=

(commalist) List of zones in which this object appears, separated by commas.

One of: Crafting, Resource, Quest, Hive, Collection, Book or Shrine. Default is Quest. Crafting is for crafting stations, Resource is for harvest nodes. Shrine gives a buff after interaction.

(commalist, optional) Use this to list all quests which this object starts or is involved in.

IF type=Resource, use this to name the Gathering Profession that can harvest this resource. This can only be Foraging or Mining at this time.

(commalist) IF type=Crafting, use this to name the Profession that can use this object. This is for Crafting Stations which can be used by more than one profession.

IF type=Resource, what is the minimum required skill in craft to harvest it?

IF type=Resource, what is the skill level at which harvesting this object no longer gives experience? (becomes grey)

(commalist) IF type is Resource or Book, list the items you get when you interact with this object. List only the direct items, NOT items you get when you open a container or refine a raw resource.

(commalist) IF type is Hive, list the mobs that will come spilling out if you hit this.
