Strength is one of the primary attributes that all characters possess.

Strength's Effects
Strength is a fairly basic attribute that only has two basic effects.
- Increases melee weapon attack power.
- Increases block value.
Attack Power
The amount of attack power increase that strength provides depends on the character's class.
- 2 attack power / 1 strength.
- Druids, paladins, shamans, death knights and warriors.
- 1 attack power / 1 strength.
Block Value
Strength grants a bonus to block value based on the following simple formula: (Strength / 20) - 1.
