To find this mob in-game, use BACKSPACE to open the World Search window, then enter Shems Bowen in the Search field and click "Search". Remember, the field is case-sensitive and must be entered exactly as shown.

The Black Codex wants you to collect certain special items in Sascilia Steppes and Dragonfang Ridge. In exchange, they offer you Tier 4 Level 50 purple-quality magical armor!

Note: Some of these special items are also usable to complete quests from Sally Iceberg for special foods.

Each quest rewards 24 XP, 12 TP, 50 , and one piece of armor.

There are 4 sets of armor available, collectively called the Black Codex armor set.

• Black Oppressor's (Cloth)
• Black Victory (Leather)
• Black Thunder (Chain)
• Black Triumph's (Plate)

In addition, there are 4 necklaces available that do not count as part of the sets and do not count towards the set bonuses.

• Black Victory Necklace (Rdb)
• Black Triumph's Necklace (Rdb)
• Black Oppressor's Necklace (Rdb)
• Black Necklace of Redemption (Rdb)
