Ranged Weapon (WoW)  

Ranged weapons include bows, guns, crossbows, thrown weapons and wands.

Crossbows, Bows, Guns and thrown weapons are able to be equipped by Hunters, Rogues, and Warriors in their ranged weapon slot. This means that the player will need to equip either a quiver or an ammo pouch to use one of these weapons. Non-throwing weapons (bows and crossbows) also require ammunition (arrows, bolts, stones and bullets).

Thrown weapons, such as axes and knives must be kept in inventory but do not require a quiver or ammo pouch.

Wands can be used by Mages, Priests and Warlocks in their ranged weapon slot but do not require any ammo.
