Amajina & Sons Mineral Concern'

"The Amajina & Sons Mineral Concern traces its history back to the Mad Mythril Rush, when an ambitious barwench named Amajina struck it rich in the mines of Thanalan and upjumped herself and her sons to the upper tier of Ul'dahic society. The mining endeavor she started continues to this day at the Concern, though it has grown significantly, and now has a virtual monopoly over the region's mineral wealth. A recent decline in the quality of labor brought about the establishment of the Miners' Guild at the Concern, and excavation and prospecting tasks are now often entrusted to hard-working adventurers."

Located in Ul'dah, the Miners' Guild can be found in Amajina & Sons Mineral Concern, in the southern area of the Merchant Strip(Level 1).

About The Guild

"A miner is only as good as her tools. And without them in hand, you'll not be a miner. Mining starts where you'd think it would―finding mineral deposits. Guild doctrine recognizes ten grades of 'em, represented by a simple numerical scale. We got different techniques for finding them, depending on which you're looking for. We have what's called secondary tools, as well. Can't mine with 'em, but you can get at outcrops of bedrock well enough. 'Course, mineral desposits and rocky outcrops will yield different hauls." - Shilgen

Completing Mining Fieldcraft Levequests can earn you Guild Marks, which allow you to purchase various abilities and items from Shilgen, the Miners' Guild Mark Vendor, located within Amajina & Sons Mineral Concern. A list of available wares and their prices are listed below.

Guild Tasks

"Many think mining for the burly and dim of wit, but it is as scholarly an endeavor as any. There is a whole world's worth of knowledge to be found beneath the surface. Should you be interested, there's no shortage of tasks to be done. Amajina & Sons Mineral Concern always welcomes the honest labor of you adventurers." ~ Linette

Guild Tasks are simple quests in which the guild requests the adventurer to bring various items to the guild in exchange for a reward. Currently only Level 1 and Level 10 Guild Tasks are available. The requested item changes daily, and the reward varies. (Gil, Shards, etc.) You can find out which Tasks are available by either talking to Linette or by examining Task Boards around Ul'dah.

Guild Quests

As you level your Mining, you will be able to undertake various quests that will require your talents as a Miner. These quests follow a storyline that revolves around the Miners' Guild and your role as a Miner in Eorzea. Although an awful lot of work may be involved in completing these quests, the rewards are well worth the effort. Below is a brief summary of the available quests, with links to lead you to their respective pages, where you can find more specific information, if you require assistance in completing your assigned task.
