A Logitech keyboard application by Wint Aru
Those of you who spent a bit of scratch and got a Logitech G-series keyboard may be questioning it's worth as a purchase. Lots of games try to take advantage of the display that comes with the keyboard, but unfortunately Square Enix has decided not to for Final Fantasy XIV. I've decided to help all of you out (and myself as well) by creating an application dedicated to displaying information about Final Fantasy XIV on your fancy keyboards. While the features are rudimentary right now, expect more polish to be put on them time progresses and as I have time to work on this project.
Also expect more features for the G19 keyboard eventually. With all of the extra space and color display, I have some good ideas on how to fill that with useful information.

There isn't a lot of prep-work required to use this application. Two things really.
I provide this app, free of charge, from my website, here. I'm looking into having this hosted by Zam as well. If that happens I will still continue to provide it free at my site, but this way hopefully some of the burden can be eased.
Installation is a breeze. Just double click on the downloaded file and follow the prompts. When done, if you want to remove the app, just look for this icon in your Programs and Features (for Windows 7 and Vista) or Add/Remove Programs (Windows XP):

After the program is installed, you should see it in your Start menu (no sub folder). For Windows 7/Vista users it would be at Start >> All Programs >> LCDEorzeaClock. For Windows XP users it would be at Start >> Programs >> LCDEorzaClock
Once you have the program installed, go ahead and start it through the Start menu. There is no interface to the app other than a System Tray icon. If you right click on that icon, there will be several options:

I will run down each feature one by one.
G15 and G19 users will both see the next date and time that the Regional leves reset as well as a count down to that time. I only have a screenshot of the G15 right now:
As you can see from the previous section, G19 users have a color screen versus the G15/G13's monochrome display. Right now there isn't much of a difference between the two displays on this app, but that will be changing with future releases. I plan to fully utilize the G19's larger and more customizable display so check back for udpates regularly!
You can change the font size, particularly for the G19 users who might feel the font is a bit small. The G15 users can also change the fonts, but anything other than 7 will cause text to run off the screen. I have created a custom font that will be packaged with the application's next release to give G15 users some leeway in the size of text on their screen.
For G15 users, this will display the emblem for the city you select.
Application logging is disabled by default, users can turn this feature on to get an idea of what is going wrong if the application crashes regularly.
Server status is already implemented, but not released yet. Font selection will also be an option, but again probably more useful for G19 users than G15 users. I'm looking at ways to import data from the Lodestone site, but for now that is waaaaay off in the future. All features in the Windows Gadget will also be ported to this app as well.
