The Oak Atrium

"The Oak Atrium straddles Gridania's Black Tea Brook, and is easily distinguished by the water wheel at its front, which harnesses the current of the brook turn to generate power for the Atrium's many devices. The water wheel itself is unique among those in Gridania, as it exhibits an unorthodox "enclosed" construction, with the blades within obscured from view by the outlying planks. Though originally no more than a mere sawmill operated by a handful of woodworkers, the building is now home to the Carpenters' Guild."

Located in Gridania, the Carpenters' Guild can be found in The Oak Atrium, in the south-central part of the city.

Guild Vendor

Various items can be purchased with Gil from Osgar, the Carpenters' Guild Vendor, located within The Oak Atrium. These include tools used by Carpenters, and other various goods related to Carpentry. A list of available wares and their prices are listed below.

Guild Facilities

Osgar also offers use of the Guild's Facilities to Carpenters who are in need of support in their synthesis. Common, Guild, and Master's Woodyard support is available for a small fee, which increases as your Carpenter Level increases. Currently, some recipes have a "recommended" level of support, which will have a negative impact on your synthesis if you choose not to obtain the proper level of support. On a side note, you can obtain Common Woodyard support from Repair NPCs, and various Camps across Eorzea.

Guild Tasks

"Through our labors, the lands' lumber touches the lives of all. Whether it be the pillars and crossbeams of homes, the shafts of spears and hammers, or the toys of younglings, there is precious little in which we do not play a part. Would you care to add your name to our guild's roll, friend? There is always work to be had, and you won't go unrewarded." ~ A'naidjaa

Guild Tasks are simple quests in which the guild requests the adventurer to bring various items to the guild in exchange for a reward. Currently only Level 1 and Level 10 Guild Tasks are available. The requested item changes daily, and the reward varies. (Gil, Shards, etc.) You can find out which Tasks are available by either talking to A'naidjaa or by examining Task Boards around Gridania.

Guild Quests

As you level your Carpenter, you will be able to undertake various quests that will require your talents as a Carpenter. These quests follow a storyline that revolves around the Carpenters' Guild and your role as a Carpenter in Eorzea. Although an awful lot of work may be involved in completing these quests, the rewards are well worth the effort. Below is a brief summary of the available quests, with links to lead you to their respective pages, where you can find more specific information, if you require assistance in completing your assigned task.
