Your problem is that your running the game in windowed mode. Im sure you like most of us, enjoy having the game windowed so you may look up stuff on the wiki about quests/etc and the annoying FFXIV crash when minimized makes this so. My only recommendation is run the game in fullscreen and it should run perfectly. I have a beefy system and even for me the game is choppy when i remove fullscreen.

hey my computer plays the game quite choppy even with the quality at lowest and windowed. i was able to return my computer and get this one because my old one didn't have a good enough graphics chip. i was under the impression that this new computer that i got, while not being the most powerful computer, could handle playing this game at least. i'm almost ready to throw this game in the garbage. any ways here are my specs and just seeing if anybody had some advice to make the game smoother. also my internet speed is 15 mbps dsl broadband so i dont believe thats the problem.
