SOE Slashes Prices with New All Access Pass

Get access to many SOE titles for a single recurring fee!

Sony Online Entertainment has opened up their new "All Access" premium subscription, which replaces the former Station Access. SOE All Access features a lower pricing structure than its predecessor, as well as multi-month plans that begin at $19.99 per month. The subscription plan will give access to many of SOE's titles for a single recurring fee, including:

  • DC Universe™ Online (PC version)
  • EverQuest® (PC and Mac versions)
  • EverQuest II
  • EverQuest II Extended - Gold Membership Included!
  • EverQuest Online Adventures™ (PlayStation® 2)
  • Pirates of the Burning Sea® - Captain's Club Membership Included!
  • PlanetSide®
  • Vanguard: Saga of Heroes®
  • Free Realms® (PC and Mac versions) Membership Included!
  • Star Wars®: Clone Wars Adventures™ (PC and Mac versions) Jedi™ Membership Included!

If a trial version or free version of a particular game is not available, or if you would like to access the full benefits of a game that may not be offered through a trial version, you must purchase the game software that you wish to play.

Visit the SOE All Access website to sign up for the plan or to check out the FAQ! You can also view the new pricing chart after the jump!

They better lower the prices since the number of games keeps shrinking, with swg taking out this time.

What about conversion rates as well?

Presently it costs more for me and the Aussie dollar is higher than the USA dollar.

Now that's a rip off!

Should be based on the current exchange rates at time of payment.

And you no longer get the free character slots and extra stuff for switching to an "all access" account like you used to for Station Access. -.-

What will happen to my character slots?

If, on the date of the launch of SOE All Access, you have an active Station Access account (or have cancelled it but have time left on it before it expires), you will be entitled to the free character slots that were included with Station Access: EverQuest – 2 character slots, EverQuest II – 5 character slots, and Vanguard: Saga of Heroes – 4 character slots. If, on the date of the launch of SOE All Access, you do not have an active Station Access account, you will not be entitled to any free character slots.

-------

Which, in other words.. if you want your free character slots, you better sign up now and get grandfathered in.

I signed up for the new all access, and had the old version before the hacks. I maxed out all my slots and now three of my toons are locked out. Luckily though, they were just used as banks, nothing I actively played with.

Hmm, that's odd. I've had the old version for about 3 years now and I haven't lost any slots.

Edit to add: I never signed up for the newer one.. My subscription does say "All Access" tho.

I hate to break it to you, but SWG is dead. It will be turned off Dec 15. I am guessing that's why it was removed from the list.
