According to European game publisher Alaplayer.net, their newest MMORPG, Avalon Heroes, is set to enter open beta, where players can register and play for up to ten days. With the beginning of their open beta, the development team notes that testers will enjoy the plethora of new changes recently added in, including six new heroes, the battle mode map "Swamp of the Immortal," and the third chapter of the conflict between Oriens and Aeonia.

Perhaps the most interesting aspect of their press release, however, has got to be the fact that games publisher burda:ic (Alaplaya) and the prestigious Electronic Sports Gaming League will be teaming up on January 19th to host the "ESL Avalon Heroes 2v2 Open Beta Cup." What this means is that Alaplayer and the ESL are so confident in Avalon Heroes, that they've actually decided to support the game right out the door. This certainly sounds interesting!
