SOE Live (formerly Fan Faire) will be held from August 1 - 4, 2013, at Planet Hollywood in Las Vegas. Late this morning Sony Online Entertainment announced that badge registration is now open, with special Early Bird pricing available. There are a variety of passes, which offer the following:

• Friday or Saturday Only Day Pass: $39* (reg. $49), includes an SOE Live T-shirt and Swag Bag; exclusive SOE Live in-game goodies**; access to the exhibitor showroom, panels, and roundtables; one complimentary green screen photo; eligible for game tournaments and live quests.
• Evening Only Pass: $99, grants entry to the Welcome Reception (including the Thursday Keynote Address), Pool Party, and Grand Banquet (including the Costume Contest). 
• All Access Pass: $129* (reg. $149), includes everything the Day and Evening passes get, as well as complementary copies of both the upcoming EverQuest and EverQuest II expansions.
• Optional Dev Brunch Add-on***: $59, join various SOE developers for a breakfast buffet on Sunday, August 4 from 10am - 12pm. Space is "extremely limited" and registrants are accepted on a first come, first serve basis.All Access Pass is required. Seating is assigned based on primary game chosen during registration.
• Kids ages 12 and under are free and must be accompanied by an adult at all times.

This evening, Thursday, April 25, 2013, SOE will be broadcasting the EQII: Scars of the Awakened and the SOE Live 2013 webcasts back-to-back live on Twitch TV. The EQII webcast at 4pm Pacific will go over some final details regarding Game Update 66 and delve into what the team is working on next. The SOE Live webcast at 4:30pm PDT will have details regarding registration (which opened up earlier today), tournament, panesl, in-game items, and more.

It's official!  Sony Online Entertainment has announced SOE Live. As we reported last week when a banner accidently went live on the SOE Live site, the annual celebration of all SOE Games wiill be August 1 - 4, 2013, at Planet Hollywood in Las Vegas. Ticket and hotel pricing are not yet available so stay tuned!

Formerly known as Fan Faire, SOE Live is the ultimate gathering for the SOE community. It provides players an opportunity to celebrate their favorite games across SOE's popular portfolio of titles, including: DC Universe Online, Dragon's Prophet, EverQuest, EverQuest II, Free Realms, PlanetSide 2, PoxNora, Star Wars: Clone Wars Adventures, and Vanguard Saga of Heroes. Fans of all ages are welcome to meet the talented people behind some of the online world's most successful games, and gain access to developer panel discussions, major company announcements, game tournaments, player gatherings, premium swag and more. In addition to various social events, SOE hosts developer panel discussions and game-themed live events, giving attendees a chance to voice their opinions of current and upcoming game content.

While there has not yet been a formal announcement, today astute Facebook users noticed that the banner on the SOE Live webpage had been updated with a 2013 date and location. It looks like the event will run from August 1 - 4 at Planet Hollywood Las Vegas.

SOE Live is Sony Online Entertainment's annual convention, formerly known as Fan Faire.
