In honor of President's Day, Sony Online Entertainment is hosting special events in many of its games throughout the weekend. We've covered most of these events in separate posts, but here's a handy list of all the festivities, including bonus experience and item sales!
Sony Online Entertainment is hosting six sealed deck tournaments this weekend to celebrate the launch of Dragonbrood - The Anarchs. The tournaments will be held at the following times:
Also, the Haunted Mansion scenario will be offered in Legends of Norrath through Nov. 9. The first time you win the scenario, you'll win the Bloodsucker promo card and either the Unwritten Glyph loot card for EverQuest or the Superior Draught of the Brilliant loot card for EverQuest II.
Dragonbrood - The Anarchs, the 11th Legends of Norrath set, features more than 200 new cards to add to your collection. The loot cards include wolf mounts for EQII players, items to decorate your new houses in EQ, and more.
UPDATE: Sony Online Entertainment just announced that the Dragonbrood set has been pushed back until Oct. 14. The "Haunted Mansion" scenario will also be released that day.

Two thousand years after the sacrifice of the Ethernauts, threats from the Void are still surfacing. Learning lessons from their past defeats, the Voidmen have now turned to a more nefarious scheme; destroy Norrath by cutting the people off from their Gods. As the five Travelers continue to investigate reports of Voidman activity, a plot to enslave the avatars of the gods is revealed. To save Norrath, the Travelers must battle against mind-controlled prophets and the manifestations of the gods themselves!

Game Designer Evan Lorentz has written a preview article for Vengeful Gods, the ninth Legends of Norrath expansion that's scheduled to launch on Feb. 23. Lorentz says that the set is "designed as an evolution of Travelers, picking up the concepts introduced there and taking them in different directions."

As Sony Online Entertainment puts it, "there's more than one way to sleigh a dragon." On-demand holiday tournaments will be held in Legends of Norrath from Dec. 24 at 2 p.m. PST until Jan. 4 at 10 a.m., and SOE will be giving a gift to everyone who participates in the event.
Five event passes will get you entry into the holiday tournament and a surprise Legends of Norrath item. The items include promo cards, loot cards, booster packs, event passes and more. You can read the full list after the jump.
The first Tournament of the Gods event will be held this weekend in Legends of Norrath to give players a chance to obtain non-tradable "Gods" promo cards. As the title suggests, the new event allows players to become "Travelers" and interact with the Gods of Norrath.
Tournaments will be held on Saturday and Sunday at 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. PDT. The event is free to enter and is open to international players. Everyone who participates will automatically get one of the following "Gods" promo cards: Innoruuk, Karana, Solusek Ro and Tunare. Any player who wins two or more games during the course of a given tournament will also receive a second promo card.

As we all know, the Travelers set has been released and includes a loot card for EverQuest and EverQuest II that grants an in-game quest for access to a limited zone. The community isn't completely happy with this move, which Calthine discussed in her recent editorial. Whether you approve of the loot card or not, Sony Online Entertainment has announced some new Legends of Norrath events for interested players.
The Travelers release weekend tournaments just kicked off today at 11 a.m. PDT and will run until 5 p.m. More tourneys will be held tomorrow and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. This will be the first time players get to use the Travelers cards in a tournament setting. More information can be found after the jump.
Also, the Brraaaaaainss! scenario runs through Nov. 11 and will pit you against a horde of zombies. The first time you win the scenario, you'll win the Zombie's Guide to Procreation promo card and either the Unscribed Glyph loot card for EverQuest or the Draught of the Brilliant loot card for EverQuest II.
