I ran across this on TVTropes one night last week. The next day, I got a Best Buy gift card from work for hitting my 9th year anniversary. So I ordered the NWN complete collection(because, let's face it, I'm a complete perv, so that TVTropes page got me interested in finally checking the game out). I've been reading a bit about it, and apparently there are a @#%^ton of fan created campaign modules. Anyone have any recommendations for any to pick up that you've played and enjoyed before?

Pensive might, lemme ask on Skype.

Also, you should make a Skype account, or if you have one already, talk with me, Pensive, Kavekk, TLW, Allegory, Ari, Spoonless, etc.

I do not have one. I trust they do not cost anything? What is required? Simple headset mic work just fine?

Haven't chatted with anyone from Zam on voice chat since the time I was on Vent with (Mindel and Ari?) way back in the days of the OOT WoW guild.

Oh, by the way, we mostly just use Skype like an IRC channel.

Very rarely, Anna or Ari will start a Skype call.

I really only have Calls with my RL friends.

Am I allowed to hang out with you guys? Or do I fail the cool test?

Oh, my parents and sister went to Victoria, BC this week. I'm jealous, it looks so nice over there.

I think I'm gonna move to BC in a few years.

So it has a chatroom type function? That may make it more difficult to chat and play games at the same time like I was planning.

The Badlands was an awesome high-magic persistant world. It was less story and more PvP MMO. I think it's shut down now, though.

NWN was essentially how my friends and I learned D&D rules. God that game was fun in its heyday.

As for actual modules, sorry, can't help you there.

BC is awesome. Victoria is just... So great. A bit of a tourist trap tho... So restaurants and stuff are expensive

Also, on topic, been eyeing up this bundle at GameStop for awhile. I just don't have any time to play more games... Between diablo and EQ2... I still have only played civ 5 once since buying it. That's pathetic.

Playing through "A Dance with Rogues". This module so far relies heavily on what I call the Atelier Rorona Solution model. You see, if you haven't played Atelier Rorona, you get to a point where you realize that when pie is a possible solution, pie is the best solution. In this module, when being slutty is a possible solution, being slutty is often the best solution.
