New LS: Freelancer.Follow

yes congrats laif. it was ... well ... fun getting your af. i nearly died and deleveled but hey, i had fun. sorry i had to cut out early on the key hunting, but i was glad i could help you get the coffer. btw, you were extremely lucky it was just inside the door. quickest coffer hunt i've been on.

other news, we have a new member Klaus ... something (i can't remember). but he is from japan but is english. i talked to him this morning and he seems like a very nice guy. he's a 66 rdm and says he loves helping with AF stuff and missions and quests. he himself has all his AF and says he doesn't really need help with anything. so hopefully he'll be a good addition. i may not be on for a couple of days due to two papers and a test for the rest of this week but i'll try. hence my mad xp run i made. 4k till 59 ^^. next up for me is castle oztroja nm for my final AF and final G3 piece. so when i'm ready for that i'll shout. peace out.

I'm always up late for my time zone ^^; I work until 10:30pm some nights, so the only decent time I get to play is from 11pm to about 4am.

Thanks to everyone for helping me to end my Davoi nightmare, hopefully I never have to go there again. I need to do the prommy's too Lup, and if there is anything I can personally help u with u but to ask.

Hmmmmm I wonder what I should talk about, since this will be my first post on Alla. Well before anything else a few late congratulations are in order. Quin, congratulations on the new addition to your family. That news is always a welcome thing to hear.
Next is Karril, grats on level 70, lol you just gain levels just to damn quick. But it's good to hear things are going great for you two.
Now what else can I talk about other then my troubles with dc. To anyone who knows of my troubles I'll just say that they should be fixed, and if not, nothing will be safe from my wrath within my room.
Ok I only have one more thing on my mind to tell the truth, I want to say thanks to everyone in the LS and on my friend list. You've all been the type of people I could find myself missing if i've been gone for a few days. Thank you for all the help you've ever given me, and any future help will be met with the same thank you. Also I musn't forget Mooni and everyone else who helped me out with my AF. I wish I could remember everyones name who helped me out at anypoint during the game, but if I don't remember the name I remember that they helped and thats a very important thing.
So finally I'm DONE lol my fingers can take a small rest from this strenuous amount of typing. I hope to see everyone soon, not for another day or two though, I kinda got sucked into watching movies and reading some new books while my problems kinda blew over lol. Adios me amigos^^.

While everyone goes racing off to lvl 75 I'll just sit at my road block called AF and G2... /sigh...

First off, tear we miss you alot. Your abssence has been very noticable these last few days. Drklighter congrats on finishing your af! That yagudo NM was /insane/ and Sharinu was most definately the MVP of that fight...christ on a cracker he even bene'd to save us. Without him we would never have gotten your item. Congratulations to Jillytaru and Lupinia for finishing thier subjob leveling spree! I know that Lupinia is very happy to start tele'ing people and Jilly hated blm like the plauge so im sure she is happy to have /that/ over with.

Laifierr i know times have been hard for you recently with irl stuff and your recent relationship troubles. Im sorry that i personally have not been able to help you as much as i wish i could but alot of people /have/ been doing thier utter best to help you along. Af we can help you with and G2 is easy to get a alliance for if you just sit in lower jeuno for a while thats how i got invited to mine. My prayers and hopes are with you in finding a new place asap and comming back to us soon.

Daesar...wow...i really dont know what all to say. You are easily the most dedicated player i know. You work all the time and only get to play a couple days a week but instead of taking the easy path and leveling your main and your sj little by little...you decided to not play dragoon at all until you had all possible subjobs for it completed. That was some seriousness right there. There were many times i was worried you would give up hope but its great to see you are finally finished. While your drg is only 21 you have went farther than most of us in other ways and if i had a hat it would be off to you. Im looking forward to the day you will be wandering around in jeuno with your Purple Af of Sexiness.

If I could do my AF by myself I would... but I can't. I don't want to have to shout in Jeuno to get strangers to help me. I want my friends in my LS to help me because it means more to me that way. I appreciate those who do help me when I ask... I just wish others who are capable of helping would also help.

I want to see level 75... I want to get the blessed set... I want to get the relic set... I want my noble's tunic and my V-cloak. But I'm stuck here at 52 while I wait for people to help me...

I want to complete my WHM AF because soon I'll be needing to work on my BLM AF.

My last key I need is crawler's nest. So it's not that great of a place to level skills. ^^

I'll give a run down of what I still need to do.

Crawler's Nest (Pantaloons)- Obtain coffer key and find coffer. Obtaining a key we only need 4 or 5 people in the party. More is nice because we can take on more mobs at one time.

Beadeaux (Hands) - Find coffer for key item for dark spark fight. Already have the key, I just need help finding a coffer. I'll probably only need one or two people to help me find the coffer. I'll most likely die while opening it though. ; ;

Eldieme Necropolis (Body)- get a tavnazian bell from Dark Stalker. This will take a party of 6.

Castle Zvahl Baileys (Hands) to kill the dark spark. We'll have to go by foot because I don't have the telepoint crystal Vahzl. This fight will take a party of 6.

Xarcabard (G2) - kill three NMs for three pieces of fragicite. Will require high level help or a large alliance.

Fei Yin (Body)- kill Altedour I Tavnazia for the Tavnazian Mask. This fight will require an alliance.

ok for G2 i started shouting in jeuno to start it up and eventually we got a large alliance together to get it done. once everything is organized, which takes the longest, it takes ~45 minutes, barring people who like to dilly dally.

update: we got laif's CN key today, she just needs coffer now.

beadeaux coffer: if you remember where we got key, in a room with 4 exits, the coffer spawns in 3 of the rooms and there is another spawn spot en route to that area. i can show you where sometime.

dark spark: is a push over really. i fought it with 2 ninja's in upper 60's (1 may have been 70), 58 rdm, and me a 54 or so mnk (can't remember). was a cake walk for us, no near deaths or anything. just have to be careful going there and avoid aggro at all cost cause hell with break lose if someone catches aggro, or so i've heard.

for your lvl 60 AF i'd recommend waiting till you get some more levels, but do what you will. if you can get high level help to do it then go for it.

I'm having trouble getting on, must be some update. Karril this is where they going to try and stick it to u with misseles range modified i think, nut on the plus side at least the new shadow rules will help keep your hate down, less pummeling and such. See you all soon.

well i just got off of work and finished reading about the update. i thought has occurred to me. with this new NPC buddy thing they are adding, i was wondering if some of you guys wanna try to kick in some sort of static? i know a few of us are at ~60's range, sharinu, quin, tear, agile, and myself. that gives us a whm, blm, sam, thf, mnk with one spot to fill. well, if we can fill it with this new NPC guy that might make for an interesting little party dynamic. just something i thought i'd throw out to see what you guys thought? i'm real curious to check this new stuff out.

as for playing time, my wife has now finished school for the summer and has all of her days open whereas i still work and go to school. this means i will not be on as much for the next couple of weeks (until she starts back up again). basically, weekends look like my times to play. look forward to seeing you all in game again. happy update ^^

Hey Quin..it's a 16 hour update. It started at 8am PDT. And it's pretty big so it'll take awhile to download..plus everyone else wanting to get it as well.

i think this is going to be a very interesting next couple of weeks, not only for rangers and ninjas. So many things have been changed its just stunning. I really fear that the changes to the nms is going to backfire though...its just going to make people that want to farm for the items need to work twice as hard while the camp area is going to be even more filled since the rare/ex thing comes into effect.

I hope SE has a clue >.>

I noticed theres some uploading chatter. If you want you can upload anything you want to my server and I got a great connection speed for both uploading and downloading. (300-450KB Per Sec)
