How is the new server? Is it pretty empty? How are parties, Nm camping, farming etc?

Haven't gotten a chance to pt myself, but a level 49 RDM friend of mine was in a pt yesterday.

It's pretty empty... Jeuno doesn't lag 0_0.

Well, my first experience in Hades from Cerberus was alot of Japanese players in Bastok, compared to what i was seeing in Cerberus.

And the AH prices in Bastok are very high compared to Cerberus. But alot of things were alot cheaper, so the economy is all messed up! As of right now...

Other than that, was pretty empty

Im loving Hades so far. No n00bs as of yet; Ive been in 3 parties so far, and all three were no less than stellar. 5k exp an hour in Gustav Tunnel, with no trains, no idiots ruining parties. Hell, I did a /sea and came up with just 14 people in the entire zone, and this was around 10pm. est.

I ride through Valkurm, and do a /sea, and less than 100 people come up. I stop as my drg and walk around, checking out the parties. I see veterans. Lots of veterans. No n00b trains, no idiots spamming insults and jargon over /shouts. I see people out there fighting and gaining levels quickly.

I see people actually trying to build their new reputations based on how they fight. I hear people (myself included) asking their party members to spread the word about them, because they want to be known as a good player. Its refreshing to see this kind of positivity; you rest easier when you dont have to worry about idiots, ya know?

I know it wont last long, as lots of people are getting worldpasses and will migrate their mules over here. I have a lot of respect for the origionals, that took their main characters here; they might have had fears of leaving "home", but they had the guts to go ahead and come. And I believe they were rewarded, as I was.

The economy isnt as bad as some people make it out to be. I got my ice staff last night for 75k, lol. Dark staffs are going for around 140k. Much cheaper than on Fenrir. Some items are way overpriced, but when people refuse to buy them, they'll drop down, just like anything else. I welcome the diversity.

Anyway, for now, Hades gets two thumbs up from me.

I was amazed.

Because there aren't as many people on Hades, the lag was a lot less noticeable. I logged in with my (then) 21-PLD on 10/6, after the move, spawning where I'd logged out in MidgardSormr -- just outside the entrance to Lower Delkfutt's Tower.

There was, literally, nobody around... and there were mobs as far as the eye could see.

Parties have been decent; I noticed people having the opportunity to try new stuff. I was pleased to party with a Mithra DRG/MNK (Go, DRG!) who pulled and did pretty decently. I was in a completely moron-free party, and couldn't wait to go back.

Tonight I'm going to log in and have way too much fun getting to 25.

Hades hath no fury... etc.

First day it seemed not many were on then I logged in at Japanese Prime time and it was BOOOOOOOOOM time in Jeuno. Same as it has always been but not many actually on the field. It seemed as if everyone was yelling to either recruit or join in LS and not much else happening. Finally got in a party around 2 am EST and did well in Valley of Sorrows (we had it to ourselves). Most HNM LS's were out going after NM's and checking out the feel of territory so we have had pretty much leveling areas and low level NM spawns basically to ourselves. Economy is fluctuating but rebounding quite well considering it's been only 2 days. I've met A LOT of friends in this server from mine and outside of the occasional moron the new emigrators are actually quite friendly and willing to meet up here. So far so good :)

Hades is far from empty. ^^

There is a good number of people from both NA and JPN, also there seems to be a nice number of EURO ppl to even it all out.

There is ALOT less lag, especially in cites and popular areas (ala Lower Jeuno AH)

The economy is good and it seems that most people are keeping prices reasonable. I have noticed most things cost the same or slightly less than they did on my old server. Most of the really really elite +1 items dont have a sale at AH so ppl are taking caution about spending money on such items yet.

PTing is slower. Mainly becuase its like everyone's "first day of school." Everyone is kind of shy and I haven't seen anyone go to far out of the norm.

I havent' seen much competition for HNMs, since those LS are still forming. Regular HMs are camped, but no more than the usual.

Overall, I think it will be a nice server. Everyone seems to care about the game and the economy and once the "ice" is broken, it will be a much more eventful place to explore.

Plus, it has the best name for a server... hands down. ^^

Welcome to Hades!

As of now, all the nations but bastok dont have any regions to control, so crystal prices are insanly high. Once the next region calculations happen, i'm sure this'l work itself out.
