Things I accomplished recently:

Got my lazy ass WHM off of 41 and up to 48
Got my lazy ass off rank 3 (and managed to piss my LS off in the process)
Soloed Blind Moby (after running into Smothering Schmidt the first time >_< It wasn't pretty...but I lived ^_^)
Started up mine and my bfs LS (yay!)
Got two Electrum rings ^_^
TANKED AS A WHM (not an accomplishment...but it further proves that WHMs are NOT tanks in ANY WAY SHAPE OR FORM)
Got RSE gloves (With help from my good friend Ashthra)
Discovered mining brings in a sh*tLOAD of gil
Discovered a new way to almost eliminate /tells about teleports (not fool proof...but it's been working)
GOT WHM TO 50!!! YAY!
LB1
Leveled BLM to 37

Things still yet to accomplish:

Update scrolls
Get Teleport-Vahzl Gate crystal (tried soloing it...died 3 times...delevled...no thanks)
Get more people for my LS
Level BRD and SMN
LB2

w00t my latest achievement eh? well...
a) it s kicking my very first NM wich ll b Jack ^^' didn t get the drop but i entered in NM mania ^^'
b)Mage Tanking with my BLM in dunes XD ( was running around a rock so liz didn t kick my ass)
c)Blm @ 18 and my freakin WHM @ 10
d) brok ethe record for the bastok dragon ( was easy but heck...)
e)...being out of achievements XD

Oh and my future achievement... hmmmm
a) Get my freakin lvl 30for SMN and Widescan
b) BLm @ 75
c)Do a lvl 20 Garrison
d) get either leaping boots or rabbit charm
e)brake my *Ineverhadthismuchgilbefore* record to 100 k
f)Balista,Dynamis, promyvion and all that stuff
g)clothcraft and woodworking @ 60

Recent personal achievements...

1. ZM13 complete, Sky access!
2. Beat Maat down as 70RNG :)
3. Bastok Rank 8 BC complete with only 4 members, and ME as the tank :) (Ranger should NOT tank FYI... I thought I was dead like 27874637645 times -.-)
4. Finished getting NIN subjob to 37 so I can sell all the equips!

New goals...

1. Find a HNMLS to call home.

2. Finish getting RNG to 75 so I have a better chance at getting ACCEPTED when I find an HNMLS that is still looking for members -.-

3. Get my Rare/Ex equips I am still missing ; ;, which are Francisca, O-Bow, and Optical Hat...

4. Get Utsusemi: Ni so when I hit 74RNG I won't be gimp ; ;

Finished LB1 last night at level 49...

got Bomb Coal at level 34..

got Ancient Papyrus at level 41..

For once the hardest part of LB1 is getting to level 50 ><

Edit: Well last night may have been more productive... single party from 200 exp over 49 to 200 exp over 50, turned in my LB1 items, Headed to Sandy to start AF2...figured I'd give the crawlers nest chest hunt a try, found the chest in under 5 min ^^

two days ago i killed Leaping Lizzy for the first time and got the drop too : ). i didnt even have to camp her at all. i came from north G and found her unclaimed on my way to bastok.

Well i took my paladin from 20 to 27 in less then a day of hardcore pting after not playing for over a month because of having loosing my job

Got RNG to 40 in about a week.... easy when you borrow gil from LS members to keep going. Also claiming and kiting steelfleece twice, once with 40rng even though there was noone around, waiting for my LS to come. 0/3 so far, but it's nice to kill stuff with friends

This weekend:
Got daylight, Thunder, Wind & Earth for SMN quest.
Farmed and crafted for a day.
Got BLM to level 5 (So I can raise WHM to sub with BST).
Helped someone with part of Mission 2-3 (got him to Giddeus to get his Parana shields, then got wife aggro & had to leave him- apologised profusely).

To Do:
Expose the ruby to the rest of the elements.
Level BLM to at least 6- preferably 10.
Level WHM at least to 12- preferable 15.
Level BST to at least 20 - preferably higher.
BCNM. Repeat. Often.

Get SAM & NIN, get all jobs up to 20, get WAR to 40+, etc, etc... the list changes, but doesn't shrink. Smiley: grin

I managed to do this last weekend:
WHM went from 14 to 17
BST went from 14 to 15 (With some help from a friendly DRK who was killing sheep and let me 'borrow' one sometimes ^^ )
BRD went from 40 to 41
And collected 24 necklaces to get my Norg fame... still need 100 orso and by doing that managed to claim Hoo Mjuu the Torrent once (I got the Zealot Mitts, not bad for my first time I think).

That's it... now I have exams... so no more FFXI till 29th June ><
(I should be studying now but I'm bored and these forums are much more fun ^^')

More Achievements :)

1. GOT one of my Rare/Ex equips I Needed so badly :) My Optical hat!
2. FOUND a great HNMLS to call home, have now fought all the gods including Kirin. Also participated in my first Dynamis, in which I got...
3. My Relic/AF2 pants! (Scout's Braccae, lvl 72, Rang Acc +7, Parry skill +10, Enmity -2 ^^) So far I havent actually seen these on any other Rangers, though I am sure they are out there, still a nice peice to have :P
4. am 8500 tnl (73 currently, will be 74 very soon)
5. Got Utsusemi: Ni so when I hit 74 I will have it availabe :P

Next GOALS:

1. get 75! I am ~48,500 exp to 75 plus a good exp buffer so I can die a lot :P Hopefully I can achieve 75 this weekend^^
2. Still would like to get My Obow as well as a Francisca, though they aren't as high on the priority list now =/
3. Decide on the next job I am taking to 75 :)

Logged on to LFG for a bit today, got my first invite after an hour or two. That party never got off the ground, so after it disbanded, I was about to log off when no more than two or three minutes later, I got another invite. Joined up and went 56 >> 58 in one session.

I haven't post is this thread for over a month.

Since the last post I got my BLm up to 47.
Leveled Goldsmithing from the upper teen's to 40
Leveled Alchemy from single digits to 27

Going to get BLM to 50 then onto WHM to 37.
Have to finsh alchemy to 60.
My biggest goal is getting GS to 100(even if it takes a year or two.)
And take RNG to the dunes so I can do some pulling(never been a puller before)

My tiny achievements over the last few days:

Finally Millioncorned myself some San D'Oria fame and quested Blaze Spikes, Drain and Warp.
Took WHM to 12 and BLM to 13.
Performed my first Magic Burst. \o/ (Fourth time through the Dunes and last night was the first party I've gotten there that even bothered with a skillchain, let alone an MB)
Got killed by my first Tremor Ram. And Mine Scorpion. \o/

To do:
Buy maps.
Quest a Friar's Rope.
Work on 2-3.
Craftalot.
Find more things to be killed by in front of people who know better.

This week's accomplishments so far:

Decided it was time to spend some of the money that I have been hoarding for the last 3 months.... and so:

Accomplishments:

We held a fishing tournament for our LS- still have some leftover rods I synthed. Not as big a turnout as I'd expected, but still very, very fun! Much thanks to Neex of my LS who thought the idea up & organised it.

Took WHM to lvl 10. Duoed with an LS mate, who was very patient with a Galka mage who was very, very rusty!

Took THF to lvl 21. Had an excellent party in Qufim- very smooth, even with auto-translate chat for the most part.

Took BST to lvl 9 (only 1 lvl). Taking it slowly so that I can get experience with guaging mobs' effectiveness against each other, and also practicing methods of getting better xp by timing my pet's death just before the mob dies.

Ran through the NIN quest- much thanks to Karina from my LS!

Did Qufim Island and Yuhtunga Outpost supply runs while in those zones.

Still to do:

Unlock SAM
Get WAR to 40
Get BST to 20+
Get as many other jobs as possible to 20.

The list still changes weekly. Smiley: boozing

- Finished Zilart Missions up till 14 (Hooray Sky!)
- Took Clothcraft to 50+ (53, to be exact)
- Obtained BLM AF Hat
- Took Cooking to 30+ (Pineapple Juice on the spot)
- Got to level 70 Summoner (FINALLY)
- Beat Up an old man (SMN Maat, (Too Weak))

Next Goals:
- Get My SMN AF Horn
- Get my Moldavite Earring (Stupid cheap gob refuses to drop it.)

-Fought the Selbina-Mhaura ferry pirates (Lost and delvled to 29 though../cry)

Things to do:
-Norg Fame for NIN scroll quests.
-Farm so I'm not all constantly broke and stuff, lol.
-Get Rank 4
-Get Ice weather so I can unlock SMN (/cheer for Carby!)
-Help people.

1. obtained mannequin body and hands and finished the mannequin quest, just got to wait til the next RL day to pick up mannequin that will grace my mog house
2. noodle kneading key item for my cooking mule.

working on:
1. bone purification on my key character so i can make reraise gorgets and reraise hairpins.
2. raw fish handling as i'm getting closer to the sushi part
3. cooking mule cooking skill if i can find honey

Recent achievements:

Helped nearly everyone I could get my hands on in the
Linkshell, getting their RSE.

Helped a random person get her Kazham Keys.

Claimed Argus for the 4th time and LAST time.

Got a Swedish person to feel comfortable in her first few days in Vana'diel :)

Learned how to jump overboard on the Airship ^^ [/hurray]

Synthed an engraved Gold Hairpin for Cherrie (darn she is a cute girl!) ;)

Things to do:

Help the rest of my Linkshell buds get their RSE.

Help Oline and Diakos get their Kazham Keys.

Help Johom find the Chest in Fei'yin.

Do the LB1 with Mitran, Banditti and Birthe.

Get my Shaded Spectacles.

Level my subs - BLM from 12-30, WHM from 24-30.

Try to solo Mission 5.1 Rising Darkness lol!

And last but not least help Wondroustremor with something lol! :)

-Quested Friar's Rope
-Bought maps
-BLM to 20, WHM to 18
-Partied with Markiegame without wanting to kill him (but probably only because it was at most an hour)
-Discovered the non-melee side of hate over and over and over
-Got bazaar checked eleventy billion kajillion times when I was just using it to keep from dropping stuff
-Joined one of those 2-day-only LSes
-Got a lizard tail off Leaping Lizzy

To do:
-WHM to 37 (and WAR and THF for that matter)
-Mission 2-3 preliminaries still
-Remember that I'm a sackholder
-Find an LS with more than 2 people on at a time
-Admit I won't be going back to MNK for a while and sell the equipment
-Mog Safe 2 so I can put off selling gear a little longer
-Windurst fame, maybe Gobbie Bag 1 if I'm anywhere near it

*morbolger (just got TOD, going to camp him later)

*coo (already 0/3 on his necklace drop, greedy bastard)
*raising funds for maat mashing

plans for next week
*i'm accomplishing nothing as i will be on vacation from monday-saturday and will have no cpu or internet access, therefore i won't have ffxi to play. i may be too busy for ffxi anyway.
*when i return, i'm going to get 66 WAR (i'm a 30-40 cap ballista whore), Mash Maat, and camp lizzy and valkrum emp, kill morbolger, and keep killing coo until he drops ajase beads
*try again at stropher chyme. i'm 0/200+ on this bastard (to be honest, i lost count on the kills), and i killed this bastard at all moon phases with /thf.

*Managed to save up enough to get my vermy cloak (6k off 58 now)

Recent Achievements:

-Got PLD to 59
-Achieved the coveted title, Paragon of Paladin Excellence.
Thanks to Lemanael and his crew (Pyroz, Jaryk, Nyek, Chipper), a couple of my LS mates (Davan and Vikas and my GF, Ikuei.
-Secured 6 of 8 elemental staves for my now 51 BLM.
-Increased crafts to 42 Smithing and 46 Woodworking
-Finished getting my WHM to 37 so i'll never have to exp with it again
-Finished my RSE gathering

Goals for the foreseeable future:

-Fisnish leveling WAR sub to 37, then perhaps go further
-ZM4
-PM2-5
-SM6-2
-Continue to assist my LS in finishing Prom-Mea, Dem and Holla (gonna be a looooooong process)
-Get PLD to 61 so i can finish LB4
-keep helping random ppl and being a good Mentor

Got a few peeps in LS through a couple promys (a while ago lol) and hit a sang with an LS Split, talk about a painful experience ;;
Got WAR to 37
Got the other 2 elemental staves and leveled BLM to 55

New Goals:
Rebuild Apex LSeven if it is without some of our core members
Get PLD to 70 and fight maat
Level NIN MNK and THF subs to 37 for future jobs including RDM, DRG, DRK and SAM
finish pondering what i am going to do with WHM, whether or not to take it further or to leave it on the shelf for BCNMs

Accomplished (if you can call it that):

Sold off about 90% of my items in storage.
Consolidated what's left to two characters.
Used my Conquest points for items to sell at AH.
Deleted Hobbitaru, Giantaru and Yourmother.
Made a small donation to my LS for a "reusable LS items" fund.

To Do:

Keep in touch with my friends.
Have fun with real life.
Take my wife on a trip somewhere special.
Visit Vana'diel from time to time.
Keep pissing off the people that hate my happy and cheerful posts by keeping on posting.

1. Defeated Maat, now my level limit is 75!
2. Finally got the drop from Coo Keja the unseen on the 4th try
3. Got Mistral Axe, too bad there wasn't a monk in the party.
4. Got within 5k xp from 67.
5. 10 Grain Plants on mule, 5 stacks of Tarutaru rice
6. Got cooking mule to 64.3 cooking

plans for this week
1. Warrior to 67 (only 12 ballistas away in the event I don't see another invite)
2. Cooking mule to Artisan status, all i really need is a day to farm fire crystals (and be able to make own squid sushi)
3. Hopefully get invited to Sandy 9-2 BCNM fight so I can get my Rank 10 items
4. Shopping Ose for Assualt Jerkin (hopefully)
5. level woodworking on other mule as sandy finally got 1st in cq

Okay, since last time:
Done:
-WHM to 20, RDM to 16
-Mog Safe 2, Gobbiebag 1 and 2
-Hero fame in Bastok, probably a decent level in San D'Oria
-Excessively "festive" swimwear +1
-Partied in Bubumiru Peninsula instead of Dunes (thanks ChrisMattern)
-Went nearly broke doing all of the above

To do:
-Gobbiebag 3
-Decide. On. A. Job.
-Bring cooking up from 38 on Ellipses
-Still got 2-3 to do
-Mine and craft more on Ampersand
-Fill up newly expanded inventories with more gear and spells I won't need for months
-RDM to 20 just so it's done
-Become unbroke

Achievements:

Ok, this has been over the last 2 weeks, but I still have the urge to share- not necessarily in exact order..

1) On a whim, camped LL for an hour. Got Bounding Boots (Leaping Lizzie now 1/4- don't need her any more).

2) Decided that I'm still an addict, and logged in again in earnest, thanks to getting a bad flu that kept me at home for a week.

3) Got BST to 15 so far (thanks again, Auril and Marien!)- got noble's ribbon and 1 Hope ring. Died quite a lot, but found out that Ani / Wegik is right... I love BST!

4) Got Cooking to 19, and passed the second guild test.

TO DO:

1) Keep trying to balance play time & r/l time.

2) Get BST to 20.

3) BCNM20. Rinse. Repeat x 5.

Recent accomplishments:
FINALLY got level 41 MNK last night.
Pulled off my first ever Chi Blast for a mighty 36 damage against a Hawker in Gustav.
Learning to stack Boost with Chi Blast, and subsequently blowing a hole through a Goblin in Gustav.
Getting Raging Fists.
Getting on the boat to Selbina, and having the Pirates show up. They didn't like Raging Fists much.
Getting a Sand Charm from said pirates.

Goals:

Get some more MND+ gear for Chi Blast.
Finally finish those @#$@ing Promyvions (Mea and Dem still evade me).
Camping Mr Deggi to get my Ochiudos Kote.
Getting my Jujutsu Sitabaki.
Doing AF1.
Getting level 50 and doing Genkai 1.
(In the very distant future) Being the Chi Blast Whore against HNMs and Gods.
(In the EXTREMELY distant future) Getting Spharai.

accomplished most of my goals except one but thats later down the road.
