Okay, I'm getting so frustrated...

Two nights and no party.

I'm a lvl 50 pld and I know many people but no one is seeking...

The last few nights there has been less that 60 people in my level range during peak times.

Is anybody else noticing this? Anyone have any suggestions?

I already have my lvl 52 AF gear and I would like to wear them soon...

Thanks

Hey, elfmommy!

There's couple of reasons why PT invites really slows down after 50.

1. Most people is still trying to get Genki 1 done. Go to lower Jeuno, and you will hear people shout for help all day long for the item in Necro. (God I try to help as many of them as I could, but I can't do it by myself at my current level. I wish I could >.<)

2. Static PTs. Try to have a little log while you play, and find out what time zone people are from, and what times they play. So you can find potential static PT members. And you don't even have to have all 6. Try to keep it small, like 3 or 4, this will help you get a exp party going very quickly. Because life after 50, people are have so many things to do, such as AF, more Genki, a lot of farming.. etc..

One thing I've always remembered from a lvl70 friend.. He said, between lvl50-60, its SE's way of the weeding out process. The LFG time will be 10 folds on some days, and trying to get help getting coffers keys for weeks. (I've been there T_T)

All I can say is to just hang in there, you will make progress no matter what. I've find, fish, crafting, or farming an awsome way to kill time. But more importantly, its better to hang around towns such as jeuno, because I know first hand that most people who is forming a PT, will pick others in the same zone as them over others who are seeking at random zones.

Good luck to ya! /cheer

Thanks Overdark...

I hope I can get going again soon, but at level 50 do you think it is safe to farm anywhere around Jueno? I really need to get something done cause I was looking at rings, neck and back armor and even those are gonna cost a lot... Any ideas?

Thanks!

I have dealt with some of the same issues myself too. There have been days when i couldnt get a PT. I actually leveled to 52 about 3 times. I was stuck at 57 for about 2 weeks because i could not get a party, then i jumped to 59 in no time, I ended up getting a party around 9:00pm and went to about 3:00am ^^. The fun part about the party was that there was only one other party in cape terigan at the time, and they left one hour after we started.

when you get around 52, you can do bark spiders in the boyahda tree with a good PT. With a thf, and some luck, you can get a good haul of spiderwebs while you are lvling. i took home about 6 of them one night. As for farming, sub thf and go kill some crawlers in sarmounge<sp> for silk, or hunt NMs ^^

Battalia Downs is good, I've farmed there through the 40's w/ PLD/THF. I always need black tiger fangs for crafting, so that's my main target, but there are gobs + orcs that drop a good deal of gil, plus if you have THF subbed you have a chance of stealing land crab meat from the tigers there.

You might be able to go to Saurmonge Campaign (or however it's spelled) and try and hunt taber beaks for the cockatric meat they drop. I only tried that at 38 or 39 and was promptly gutted and killed, so you might want to be careful if you check that out.

And weapon skill-ups in Qufim Island are a good idea too. Plus the lower levels will be able to get past Dancing Weapons if you're hacking at them. I think I skilled great sword on them up to level 82.

Yep. Both Alex and Ono have the right ideas. At that level, I did prefer Sauromugue Champaign over Batallia Downs, because the tigards are really over camped sometimes.

Another suggestion you might try if you have time, is try lvling your blm to at least 17 if not higher, then that way, you can sub it, and just put in your search comment that your HomePoint @ Jeuno. So that way, people will know a head of time that you can be back in town withine seconds. This way, you could go farm, or visit different zone (questing and stuff) while you wait for PT invites. ^^

At each limit level there will be some downtime.

BTW.. Elfmommy, I remember partying with you when you were like a level 29 warrior in Yhoater. That was like a month and half ago. You level fast!

Instead of subbing BLM(unless you already have it lvled for warp), I always carry a insta warp scroll and put that in comment, enabling you to sub thief for treasure hunter and still being able to warp back.

Turtle ^^ hey! /wave

Actually I really dont level that fast, I just binge level. I farm till I have enough gil to get to a certain level then I party thill I hit that level, so how fast I level depends on what I need between levels or how many levels I can get with my current gear.

That and I got lucky with some really awesome parties. ^^

But back to the post, I should trying putting the HP Jueno in my comment cause depending on if a full party is waiting I do carry a warp scroll, if its just starting, and its not too far I'll walk.

Thanks again for the input!
