It is a no brainer that people that come to these boards often play their job better then people who don't. Now this is not to say that all people that come to these boards are the best players, or some people who don't come to these boards are crap. But for the most part a person who reads different threads about his/her job will perform better in party situations.

So my question is more of a poll. I was just tryin to see what jobs people play that come to these boards. For the most part they are in people sigs, but just to see what everyone plays will give an idea as to what jobs MIGHT, and I use might because it is not always the case, have the worst players in it.

***I dunno why I started this thread, I was really bored at work and figured it could start a good conversation about what jobs are lackin good players on Valefor***

I play THF, WHM, BLM and SAM (not very often. Trying to maintain 2 mage jobs and a melee is hard enough without having to worry about 10k gil GK's.) and war >.<. WAR is what I sub with THF, though that might change.

For the most part I browse the THF and BLM forums and the TradeSkill forums.

I'm a Dragoon and loving it. Me and Azure have had our good times and our bad times but I don't think I'll be changing jobs anytime soon.

Nefarious - Black Mage

Well my main is PLD, however i have been relieving some AF stress with DRK ^^. Nothing like being the damage dealer in the party, and not have to worry about touching my provoke macro. I do have the problem of using provoke when the tanks in my PT cant keep hate and the mob goes after a mage ><. I have grown very fond of the dark magic spells. Drain and aspir kept my party's downtime low in qufim. Whenever i was running low on MP, i would have the puller grab a clipper. hmmm... i think i ran off subject there... Well all of my jobs are listed below. I think i am going to take SAM and DRK to 30.

When I first started, I chose RDM as my job.. leveled up to 13, and decided to try out BLM for a while. And it didn't take very long at all for BLM to become my main ^^. So I sit @ BLM/WHM most of the time, until I need to lvl WHM a bit.

I love all jobs. I would like to play BLM more, cause MB is so fun to do!

Hey my in game name is Elfmommy.

My main right now is a lvl 50 PLD. I LOVE MY JOB!

However, I have other jobs leveled as well, Thf 17, rdm, 10, mnk, 12, and of course war 32.

I also have all the advanced jobs unlocked except for SMN stipid fire and earth won't come out.

Anyway, about reading these posts and doing your job better...
Definately true for me, I have gained a lot of knowlege about PLD from here. But since I didn't know about this site with my War, I wish someone would have told me not to use S&S with my WAR. Now I have to skill up my axe/greataxe before I go back... ack!

But thanks to this site I have started to lvl my GS which is now lvl 60 and I plan on doing Staff next since I know I will need them. This site rocks and it really helps give people an idea of how to do a job or what we NEED and what is nice for a job.

I guess this is kinda on topic, but, I was searchin for a group in jeuno the other day, tryin to catch up to my static, and there was four plds lookin at my lvl range. I dunno if there has been a lotta pld love goin on lately, but man, back in the day I remember never seein a pld searchin. It really sucked because the ratio was like 4:0 with plds to rdm/whm. LOL, and they were all rank 5 also >.< I had nothin on um. Its all cool though because I got my party invite and got a lvl or two.

BRD/WHM. i think im a pretty good BRD if my PT allows me to do my job. but one thing that is a problem is equipment. ><;

Hi Elfmommy, I think we partied a bit a while ago.

As people reach genkai 1, more and more are forming static parties, so it's becoming harder to get into pick-up groups. Plus weekdays are hard to get higher level pick-up parties. I actually have a static for my PLD, but we haven't leveled in 5 weeks (vacations, hurricanes, farming, etc.), and I'm really missing PLD tanking. Best bet is to get the seek flag up early, set up a search comment, and maybe go farm or fish.

Well my name and levels are listed below. Obviously Drk is my main, which I just got in a static party with. So you'll probably see me running around now leveling my subs sub (nin) and my subs (war or thf) Or just running around in random places in a fury tryin to make that gil.

I try to play THF with a little NIN. Despite the fact that it's harder to group with, THF is the job I really want to take all the way.

Red mage, b/c i love being able to help, along with White mage and of course Black mage which i am currently lving..and i want to someday lvl my 17 summoner...its a trend with me to play mages

Lvl 60 BLM/WHM.
ATM you'll see me at Jugner fishing, or In Jueno wishing I could get a M6.1 or Genkai 3 done. My WHM needs leveling, which i plan to do this weekend. If you see me as any other job is will more then likely be beastmaster.
