Hey, I'm new to the game... just started a few days ago and didn't like my character, so I restarted today and like playing as a white mage Taru much better... :)

Anyway, my uncle used to play this game (at least I think he used to... not sure if he still does or not... ) and I decided I should try it out and see what I think before XIV comes out...

I've also been reading around and noticed something called Linkshells... can anyone elaborate on what they are and what they do? Thanks... :)

Also: My name in-game on the Titan Server is: Pligon. And I'm always looking for new friends and help to get me started as a white mage... :)

a linkshell is an item that lets you talk to a group of people all the time. its like chat channel for a friendlist. find me in game. my name is Eliminex. we'll get you a linkshell and help you out.
