Gluttony Sword HuntFollow

Not that I would be much help against an Eldieme NM, but I'll give it a go if you think I could lend a hand. NM killing is always entertaining^^

This is the comment I got from Bernwern who's in my LS.

"You do NOT want to camp this. Here is why:

1) Mobs in there will aggro and/or link and wipe you all out.

2) All 7 of the Skulls (one named for each of the 7 deadly sins) are level 60 NM, meaning a lvl 70 would have a hard time soloing them and a full pt of 60's would have fun trying to kill them.

3) In order to pop them, you must go to all SEVEN of the tallow candles in Eldiemme and light them ALL within 1 hour. The areas these candles are in are NOT fun to get to, and would require at least 2 people to do it. Then you would need your party waiting at the Skull of Gluttony's pop point to claim it.

So.....as you can see, just go buy it. If we had 12 lvl 60's, then camping it (and some others would be feasible. I want to do this eventually as several of the items they drop are good money makers, but I realized when I got my Gluttony sword that this is entirely not possible yet.

Sorry to ruin your hopes, but unless you have lots of help and time, you are better off buying this. Look at it this way though: pld will not really need another sword until Espandon +1 (around 100k at lvl 67 i think), Joyeuse (EX sword, lvl 70 i think), or Riddil (lvl 70+ EX sword drop off Fafnir, a lvl 70 NM). This is a great investment for a pld weapon and I don't plan to replace it till I get Riddil or the Joyeuse. Unless of course I can get Excalibur, the uber relic sword that is uber hard to get."

So, with all this into consideration, it's up to you to decide what to do.

I understand the risks involved.

To be honest, I am just kinda getting tired of just "buying" everything. I would like to get this sword through the original ways, because of the whole "adventure" involved.

count me in credos.....im sick of visiting the ah as well....this sounds fun. question though.....how often can we kill the nm.....does he drop it every time? send a tell or a mssg...im on WAY too much :). im only 55 so it may be a couple days or even a week b4 u may want me to join ur alliance.
