Returning FFXI PlayerFollow

Hey there everyone. Just signed up for these forums. I have been playing FFXI on and off (mostly off!) since the PS2 version came out, and have recently gotten back into it. But the population has thinned considerably since I was really into it and running around goofing off solo sucks most of the time with no one to talk to. I want to meet some people and actually make my time in FFXI a social experience instead of a boring solo campaign. Feel free to message me in-game or here. My shell is pretty barren these days too. I've thought of seeking another but I just don't feel up to it...

Ingame: Sartre

Well I started over after 3+ year break. Sadly I miss my 92 goldsmithing >.<.

When I first started again I was lucky I had a friend that was in a big social shell so I got a pearl right when I started again. Sadly it was a little to big and just never felt connected. I also play with my girlfriend so I was never truly alone in the ffxi world. She was able to reactivate her account unlike me who started over. Now a few of my ingame friend from the past started playing again and we made our old ls from before we all quit. Going on 6 members strong lol.

All my rambling aside level sync is awesome but it does have a negative in that you don't party with the same people day in and out like you used to back in the days, I feel that that made strong bonds. On a positive lfg all hrs on end blew. I've made a few new friends since starting over but not like before.

So I'll add to the post as I'm always up to meeting new people. I've seen Lleh a handful of times on my mules. My game time is somewhat limited and I do get caught doing stuff with my small ls a lot but feel free to send a tell maybe we can do something.

Overall I think the game is better now just much harder to make new friends now which leave a deep feeling of empty inside. doesn't help that people don't check forums anymore on any of the ffxi site well with this server at least. Once you have friends to do stuff with this game becomes as addictive as it was before.

Hey, just returned to FFXI and starting from scratch on Ramuh with a brand new character. I haven't played in years and am looking for a new group of people to enjoy the game with. There looks to be some cool new content and it be cool to go through the game with folks who are starting out from the beginning as well.


If any social and leveling linkshells are recruiting, definitely send me a tell or message. Trying to really enjoy the content this go round instead of doing a mad leveling dash to 75.

My in-game name is Kansuke, Galka 15 War. I'm usually on in the evenings, like 4pm eastern time. Started about 2 days ago and this should be fun.

well I'm returning to FF XI again, I'm getting updates now but my character name is Soulfire add me and lets play.

I'm still playing got a new comp and been dealing with the hell that is Windows 7 and FFXI >.<. Finally fixed that issue resolved I think.

Seems a lot of people have win 7 problems with FFXI, mostly on desktops for whatever reason while others experience no issues at all. That being said I don't want to highjack the tread with my comp issues that I think I resolved.

Check the link in the sig might interest you either way welcome back. It;s harder to meet players now but it's far from dead imo. The forums however are dead I end up talking to myself on the forums lol.

I didn't know you but remember you passing by you a lot in Jeuno for whatever reason I remember all my fellow rdm

I will be returning in a month or two as well. I just hope I will be able to reactivate my account. It's only been about a year or so now. Unfortunately, it would seem that Pyohehgah
was right saying that I would be back LOL. I will look forward to meeting you all in game.

I came back for a month because steam had the ultimate collection for $5. Not sure why but I'm on Ramuh :)

I agree that it's pretty dead. I'm up to 8 thf and 5 mnk, at least solo is much faster since I'll be soloing to 18 for SJ quest :)
