Looking for a LS that's friendly to returning playersFollow

I've just returned to the game and I'm looking for a casual, social LS or a more organized group that is open to helping new/returning players get up to speed and participate in their events. I've missed a good deal of the more recent content but I do know my way through everything up until PUP/DNC came out. I'm typically an evening/late night EST player. Just looking for a group to socialize with and team up with while I play. These boards seem pretty dead but I figured I'd try my luck anyhow.

Okay, so this thread has been viewed 167 times without a single response. I thought I'd give an update. In the past 2+ weeks I've taken both PLD and DRK to 99 and, right now, wish to focus on DRK as a kind of main job that I'll look to improve my gear for and pour merits into, etc. I've actually got a pretty decent amount of merits in already as well. No noteworthy gear to speak of, but I have gotten myself to rank 6 so that I can do dynamis and ZMs and I have gotten a few atmas and familiarized myself with the generals of abyssea. If anyone has room in a casual LS that randomly does things together please send me a PM or /tell in game to Jacan.

Did you have any luck, cause i'm in the same situation..... i have been away for years and i need a LS with patience. I used to belong to Gunslingers on titan server but I don't know if they're around anymore. I just logged in today for the first time in a long time and I can't find anyone willing to talk to me (perhaps they don't speak English)
