kinda funny if you visit the POL website there are flash add's for IGN which everyone knows you can buy gil from that website,and RMT's work for IGN.

yes your imagination. It is no differant then when I once saw an XFL commercial during an NFL game when the XFL was still active. Not always are Ads sponsered by the website/program you are watching, and in most cases are put up without said site/program even knowing.

You realize that there's a difference between IGN and IGE right? IGN being one of the largest (if not the largest) "entertainment networks" on the web, and IGE being the (old) name of one RMT company (which was at one point under the same parent company as one Allakhazam.com).
Not to mention that the only "ads" I see (considering that it -is- a corporate website and not ad-sponsored) is the one banner for Direct2Drive. While it is part of IGN, D2D is also one of the major avenues for direct download software purchases, which SE just so happens to have recently made FFXI/expansions available on.

Except that they're not. Like I said, you have a Direct2Drive thing on the PoL page, which is basically SE pointing out a new way you can obtain FFXI. It's less of an ad as it is an announcement.
