Now this is my kind of topic;)

Way too many people to list, and since most a now either on my Friends List, in my Linkshell or both, l get to thank them everyday:)

So instead, ld like to thank the following types of people;
*Those that drop a buff or heal on people
*Those who either go raise from a shout, or come upon a fallen hero and Raise them
*Those who pull of a link to save someone, or run to a Call for Help
*Those who take time to answer someones shout in city about a game question, especially from new players
*Those who shout out things that make us a laugh:)

So many people I have meet in that LS and after 2 years+ it still feels like home, you are all great!

I still have nightmares.

While I am still a n00b to the MMORPGs, I must say - of the ones I have played - FFXI takes the cake. Why? The people.

People answer your questions. They pitch in to help out of the blue. They help those of us new to the world get on the right track. THIS is what makes a MMO game work.

So, to any one of you out there who have taken the time to lend a helping hand or spell out of the blue, pat yourself on the back!!! :-)

The absolute coolest people I know:

Octavius&Grease-Started the game with these jokers and have not been able to get rid of them yet. My best friends in real life and I have nothing but love for either of them.
Veloura-When I was a big bad 45PLD, he was an 18WHM and leading me around to places that NEITHER of us should have been. Probably had more fun dying with this guy than I have playing in any other normal circumstances.
Demenic-Little did I know that one day that lil BLM would grow into the best FFXI player I know. I have never seen a guy work his character like him. EVER.
Acreus-I swear this guy knows everything about this game. Always there to help when we really needed it.
Stonedpimp&Crunkjuice-Known them forever and a day. Both have helped me at a drop of a hat and it was always appreciated.
Karam-He taught me how to be a Paladin.
Mistikal-As Babysealclubber mentioned, she is the best person I know. Hands down. 'Nuff said.
Mjollnir-How can you not love a guy that was stubborn enough to be a Galka and on TOP of that, was stubborn enough to solo WHM to level 30. the dude plays the game like it is supposed to be played. With a HELL of a lot of fun.
Elvandra-She made me enjoy the game again. Just an awesome and classy lady.
The entire [b]Sublime LS[/b] (asI remember it)-Naten,Renamewmew,Rihi,Bigstubob,Drayke,Cryztal,Hatemachine,Merrick, Starrdust, Heavensent, and all the other people that have been in and out of this LS. Those KA run days were about the most fun I have had in the game.
Oognish,Boognish (all the other -ish mules in Windurst)-I took a 7 month absence and upon returning and checking my mules, I find the SAME little tarutaru mule sitting outside the Windurst Mog House as when I left the game. I know it sounds funny, but that said "Welcome Back" to me more than almost anything. Strange but true. Whoever you are, thanks.

She's the coolest, nicest player I've ever had the opportunity to meet in game. When I joined AshestoAshes LS, I met some really cool and helpful people, her being one of those people. She helped me with Mission 3-3, both of 4-3's Quadav battles, 4-3's battle with the 2 Yagudo protecting the torches near the Altar Room, and BCNM 20 Wings of Fury. I'm glad I met you Suki. I still have yet to meet anyone as nice as you in game.


Geezeus
AshestoAshes LS leader. He's a really cool player and new friend of mine. Geezeus helped me with Mission 2-3's dragon battle. He's also helped me with anything I wanted to know about ToAU - he answered lots and lots of questions without losing his patience... Geezeus also helped me with BCNM 20 Wings of Fury. Besides the help he's given me, he's also given me lots of helpful information on just about anything I ask as well as some advice when I need it :)


Jata
I met Jata in Eco-Warrior Windy. She was shouting for members and I answered. She also invited me into AshestoAshes. I quickly found Jata to be a very kind and helpful player. She beared with me through Mission 3-2, something I messed up on twice, getting my PT killed >.< Stupid mistake casting around arcana lol. Through all of it, she kept calm and stuck with me until the end. She also helped me get the SJ items I didn't get while PTing for ToAU access. It was about 3 hours getting all of them...but she stuck with it and because of her I've been able to enjoy ToAU^^ Thank you Jata.


Blitch
I met this Tarutaru in a Kazham PT. She tanked for our PT with MNK, tanking mandies better then any other tank I've ever PTed with in both Yuhtunga and Yhoatar Jungle. She held hate as well as a PLD. When she told the PT it was getting too early in the morning for her to continue, and had a PLD otw to replace her, we said we'd rather have her stay and tank. You did a great job tanking Blitch.

I'm not even going to try to remember or list all of the people who have helped me over the more than two and a half years since I started playing. It's safe to say that without all of you, I wouldn't be posting this right now, nor would I have played for half as long as I have.

I will, however, attempt to name and thank the few of you who have helped me out time and again whenever I needed it, with missions and quests, NMs and items, and conversation when the invites just wouldn't come. You are the people who keep me coming back everytime I take a break from this game. Anyway, I'll attempt to do this in somewhat chronological order.

Ryuho -
Although I may joke about this being the worst present ever, I never would've started playing if you hadn't bought the game for me. And while I can always tell you this IRL, thanks for everything. Those ffxi lans were awesome and easily some of the most fun times I've had while playing, especially duoing Shiva and our yukata parties in La Theine (NO Yukata, NO PT!).

Stryder -
Another good friend IRL. The same goes for you as Ryuho. Although our levels have switched, there's nothing like playing with someone you know IRL. Someone you can always talk to and joke about how terrible your pts are to.

Haikado -
Thanks for befriending me in Qufim and giving me my second LS. Honestly, if you hadn't, I never would've met so many of the great people that I did. We went our own ways later on, but I'd still be stuck without a Kazham pass or any friends ingame if it weren't for you.

Ramblefire -
You were probably the closest friend I had ingame while you still played. If we hadn't met, I would have quit the game around 50 DRK. You were always there to help or to xp when I needed someone to start a party with and you're easily the nicest person I've met ingame. I just wish I had a chance to say goodbye. Thank you.

Byrdclaw and Julzywulzy -
As the only two people I've met IRL from ffxi, I'll never forget you guys. I still remember Julzy asking me if I wanted to lan when I first joined the LS. You guys, along with the rest of Voodoo/Pervy/all of the other incarnations, have been the most helpful and fun LS I've had. Although I'm absolutely terrible at keeping friendships alive online over long periods of time, I think I'll have to work on that.

Caitlyn and Vdien -
I don't think I've ever seen you guys refuse to help. You were always there whenever I needed something and always the first to offer help when I didn't want to ask. As with Ramble, I wish I had been there to see you go.

Rauclodant -
You'll always be my clone. Or maybe we're both clones. In any case, I wish you luck back in Thailand with your family. I'll have to catch you the next time I see you on AIM.

Taverasme and the rest of BSTinc -
I couldn't have made it to 75 BST without you guys. With anyone else, I'd get angry or upset hitting the dirt, but with you guys whether it's helping out, getting help, or just trying something new with all BST, it's always a pleasure.

There are so many more people who I should thank, but I'm afriad neither my memory nor my breath are long enough to do so. For those of you I've forgotten or not mentioned, thank you. Many of you quit this game a long time ago and most of you I never got a chance to say goodbye to. Although I doubt any of you will ever read this, if even one of you does, it will make this post worthwhile. Once again, thank you, you've really made this experience one I'll always look back on fondly.
