There is a crack theory floating around Tumblr and now FF.net that Rogue and Sting are Gajeel/Levy and Lucy/Natsu's children sent from an alternate future from future!Lucy, to help ensure that their future is the one that makes it.
I mean, we all know Mashima plays FFXI. I'm guessing that if this is the case, he came up with this idea while slogging through WotG.

Really? I could have sworn I read it someplace beforehand.
Regardless, the parallels between Fairy Tail and XI are numerous and frickin all over the place. There's a reason I describe FT as "if FFXI were an anime" to people. For example, Lucy's Zodiac summoning system is a direct clone of that for summoners in XI, just using Earth constellations instead of the SE summon constellations.

Naruto: Check this out - Apparently Sharingan is activated when someone the individual loves is killed or brutally hurt and such. Sasuke's Sharingan activated when he and Naruto were getting beat down by Haku. So, you know.
One Piece: Franky had Valkyrie-style pigtails.

Naruto: My take on the Love bringing out the Sharigan activating then is more like, I hope, loving Naruto like a brother or family. It seems that Naruto and Sasuke were more like quarreling brothers then the idea that he loves Naruto like yaoi type love. Which makes sense also because it seems the overarching theme of Naruto is family.

Well, it's true. I'm a @#%^ing prince, he's trash!

Naruto: Well it's official the Mangaka has no clue how hes going to end this, time for super long flashback arc. Also since when did Ochimaru become Sasuke's bitch? I mean "If Sasuke-kun isnt satisfied with your answer I may have to destroy the Leaf", I mean i understand I guess if he's using this to his own ends maybe but it just seems out of character.

Naruto was just people waving their peens around. Bleach was kind of charactery-building, though I'm still holding out for a Kenpachi Bankai. Volg seems to have gotten screwed over in Hajime no Ippo, looks like the big fight is starting up in Soul Eater, and Deadman Wonderland is starting back up. Waiting on One Piece, assuming there is one this week.
And other stuff.

Naruto: Why the hell is Orochimaru being all buddy buddy with Sasuke? He might know that Sasuke could take him, but that doesn't seem like something Orochimaru would let stop him. He has no reason to hang around and help Sasuke like he is.
Bleach: I don't think the fights over just yet. I still expect an explanation of Unohana's bankai and a shone power up for Kenpachi. I did kind of like how this chapter got fairly symbolic, though.

Fairy Tail: So it was a control spell, most likely cast by the Sadistic Tiger Bitch. And it looks like Dragon Slayers get a second, non-Dragon Force mode when they absorb a complementary magical element other than their own.

I wonder if it's going to be a thing where the first generations can absorb other types. So I'm wondering when/if Wendy will, and whether or not Laxus can/will. I think that's vaguely English enough to be understood.

Glad I'm not the only one that reads that, so I can say that this movie looks remarkably like that manga.

I doubt she had anything to do with it. I'd give it a higher likelihood of being that Zeref-like magic that Crime Sorciere's going nuts about, even though they smelled that on Future Lucy first. It could have possessed Lucy first while she was time traveling, talked to Hisui, then ditched Lucy.

Didn't she already say that she would do anything to keep Sabertooth as the #1 guild, and we saw that she knows extremely rare spells. Maybe she's the source of the magic?

Because we've already seen Minerva's magic. Her magic is called "Yakuma's Spell of the Eighteen Combat Gods" by Mavis, it can teleport people around on top of damage, and it's literally all she uses ever since she shows up. But she still has to be directing it and it looks very distinct. Talking through a shadow and offering to make Rogue stronger doesn't sound anything like Minerva's magic, but it DOES sound a lot like that Zeref ghost from way back when. Also, Mavis doesn't recognize what that shadow is but does recognize what Minerva is using. On top of that Minerva's definitely with Erza and Kagura at this point, so she doesn't have the time to be talking through a shadow right now.
Fairy Tail (as in the series, not the guild) magic is extremely specialized. Someone dipping into a second magic is only able to do so because it's related somehow to the first magic (Natsu using Dragon Slayer Magic to mix lightning with fire or eating Etherion) or a similar relation (Jellal using Mystogan's magic because Mystogan IS Jellal, or Lucy using Uranometria, "The Ultimate Magic of the Stars," while being a Stellar Spirit Mage). Minerva using magic ghosts and shadows makes less sense at this point than someone else being involved, because we're given enough of a flavor of her magic to be able to tell that this is a totally different type of magic. If it is Minerva controlling the shadow, it would be a total ass pull.

She could be another "Memory" Mage like Rufus and learned all the spells while fighting against different mages. Hell, she might have learned the shadow spell from her father.

Naruto: Boring Flashbacks are boring. I mean really almost nothing happened, except foreshadowing how Sasuke and Naruto are going to beat Madara, which while interesting would have been so much more interesting if they did it then explained how he figured it out.
My predictions for upcoming fights: -Yadda Yadda Flashback, Sasuke has a change of heart or decides he at least wants Madara out of the way, or has Vegeta logic of only he can destroy the Leaf and will take down anyone he thinks might take that away. -Team Saucekey and 4 Kages go to frontline, Ochimaru backstabs and joins Madara, Big stand off, lots of lesser characters go down, Madara takes out the "Lesser powered revived First and Second, Third helps take out Tobi with Kakashi. -Naruto jumps the gun and almost gets killed or something, 4th Jumps in saves him also releasing the 2nd half of Kubis power he had trapped in him (Or most of it) Something silly like that. - Naruto still cant fully control the power, Sasuke steps in and tries to do the armor + kubi move to reign in kubis power. Through the power of love and friendship they win, rainbows abound. -Naruto gets elected to be Kage, but instead of taking it decided he and Sasuke will rule together.
Meh.

Is it just me or did Bleach feel really long this week? Like there was actually words in it or something, nah I'm just Imagining it. I'm going to have to re-read it when Manga stream releases maybe it will make more sense, but there's a disturbance in the force I feel a massive troll coming on soon, or I'm just cynical.
I was going to mention that bonus, I found it hilarious. I kind of want to go check there other releases to see them. (I usually used Manga here)

Worse, it's a flashback within a flashback. Inception!
I thought I'd feel more excited once Kenpachi's sword evolved, or whatever the in-canon explanation of that is, but I get the feeling we won't see him and the sword until the next time there's a big fight. A really stupid cliffhanger end of that particular storyline.
Plot in One Piece is moving forward kind of slow, but the inbetween chapters generally do.

Momosuke trolling Sanji, Brook, and Kinnimon was hilarious. Also it looks like the top rookies are planning to attack the Emperors at the same time. Law/Luffy going after Shanks and Big Mom, Drake going after Kaido, and Kid/Hawkins/Air going after their currently unknown target.

Fairy Tail: Predictable twist in the Laxus/Jura fight, most likely going turn into a slugfest. I'm already seeing that the final battle of the tournament will be Gajeel vs Sting, with Acnologia showing up in the middle of the fight with the Dragon Army.

Doubt it. Dragon Slayers seem to need a nap after absorbing other "elemental" types.

Naruto: Is it bad that I remember posting that it was a flashback within a flashback, but I can't remember whether it actually was Inception or I was just joking? That's how little attention I'm paying to Naruto again. Which is sad because for a while it was actually getting interesting.
Bleach: So who had "Quincy" in the Ichigo Genetics Pool? I'm pretty sure I didn't say it, but I agreed with it.
One Piece: Huh, some explanation into what exactly the Fruits are might be coming up. Also Warlord Buggy the Clown.

I think Kubo knows Bleach is going to be ending soon so he's actually trying to write again, like the first arc, so when it does end he can find a new jobs at the next publisher.

I thought Gajeel vs Sting was already concluded. It's a shame either way. I guess it's more because Erza, Grey, and Laxus all had their badass moments (Monster clean out, stealing a Red Mage hat, and Guild decimation respectively) that their last fights are getting cut short. Well, that just means we can focus more on Story B with Natsu.

Nope. Gajeel fought Rogue and Eviler Rogue, Sting has been moping in a different part of the field. I'm leaning to them as the final fight because they still have to establish that Gajeel is stronger than both of the 3rd gens; since they already had Natsu show that he was able to take both of them on at the same time.
