Xyn, read the first couple of posts after you. Those weren't flames, or anything, aside from people trying to help a bit. I'm taking a stab here, guessing that you made flame-bait with posting in Caps Lock a little too much. Maybe that's why you got flamed?

I'm not gonna point out much more, it's easy to figure the other stuff out.

I came back to read this thread to get my daily laugh and was amazed to see that it was up to three pages. I have just one thing to say about this whole thread and issue. Who cares what someone else thinks. Did you lose sleep over it, did it make you cry, if you want I'll send you some tissues. I know that you still play cause I saw you on. So it couldn't be that bad. Also every post you do just makes you sound dumb. You say the same thing over and over and over and over. You never make sense and that picture of you is definitely not you so i just wanted to say that.

Been trying to think of a way to throw my 2cents into this mix, not because this topic needs bumping, etc., but because it represents an ongoing frustration that seems rampant on these boards. O well, here goes.

I think it is a fair assessment that by the time a thread reaches the point that this one has, it is no longer about the original topic, but rather about emotions and frustrations. It is certainly reflected in the OP's most recent post on this thread.

So what's the point of that? Well simply, congratulations, we all seem to be able to treat one another like dirt.

My grandfather used to tell me before he passed, and I'm sure we have all heard it in one form or another, that if we make the world a better place for our having been a part of it, we have lived a good life.

And here we have people so upset that they persist in tearing one another down. So much easier than building someone up, isn't it?

I have had no dealings with Vicodin, and very few with Xyn. But let me share that one with you.

To say I had been having a bad night would have been an understatement. I was off somewhere, ls removed, doing my best not to explode on a random tirade.

I received a /tell from Xyn asking if i was interested in doing 5-2. Unfortunately, I had to decline, due to not having completed 5-1.

Now here's a surprise for you. After she completed her rank 6, she again sent me a /tell, asking if I would like her help w/ 5-1. Surprise, surprise. Can you imagine, someone willing to go out of their way for no benefit to themselves whatsoever?

Why do we have to paint people into roles of good guy/bad guy, then refuse to let them walk any other path?

To both Vicodin and Xyn, outside of /blist, GM's or ignoring the other, there really ain't much you can do.

But I don't think it really matters. /blist takes care of harassing /tells, and does anyone really give any credit to ppl accusing others of gilbuying? Seriously, how could they possibly know whether you have or not.

Anyone with a modicum of intelligence will ignore such comments, anyone lacking that intelligence is still stuck in Valkurm.

Anyways, just some thoughts.

Nope, I dont see myself being wrong. You complained others were "harassing you of being a gil buyer." Then, you later on said "I dont care about others opinons." Well then, why do you continue to respond?

I was in a party with you. You were being extremely bossy, downright mean. I talked to the other members of the party, in /tell, and they agreed. I told them I was going to leave, they said it was fine. Then I said, in party "Im going to go, this party is a little too stressful, see ya" or something along those lines.

For the ENTIRE walk back from the Crawlers Nest to Jeuno, you sent me tell after tell, explaining why I was a bad player for leaving, telling me why I suck, telling me Im leaving the party, telling me all kinds of things about myself. THATS CALLED HARRASMENT.

So I fkn harrased you back. Childish? Sure. But dont come @#%^in crying on these boards about being harrased. fkn hypocrite.

And I didnt say that sh*t to you for "weeks", I made direct comments to you, in /tell, when I would see you sitting in Jeuno, which was maybe once a week, if that. And the comment would be to the extent of "You buy gil!" and that was that.

I think I said it out-loud once, AFTER you had come to me as your other character, Kristiejon, and asked me for money, for some reason, probably planning on ripping me off, and I found out it was you.

Kirstejon was mentioned a number of times on the (now thankfully dead) /blist thread. Being extremely bossy was one of the points mentioned. Changing the character doesn't change the person, it seems.

Anyways, as for harassment, as I said before, /blist, USE IT.

Oh, and as far as calling her a gil seller, she had a rank 3 char, at lvl 40 or so, with TWO sai's as weapons, Kotes, Emp pin, Leaping boots, the works. Yes, she has Kristiejon, but she is in no hnmls, and Im wondering how you get that kind of cash. I mean, TWO Sai's? Come on.

Anyway, I dont give a sh*t if people buy gil. Its your money, its your hobby. Im just explaining why I thought she did.

I remember this too! lol I read this thread years ago and had never even talked to Xyn before until I was in my late 50s on my Whm. I had heard her name mentioned before and people said "she's just a bitch..." I remembered I was LFG and she sent me a tell from her toon (Vixen) asking if I wanted to exp. Being the aggressive leveler that I was, I asked responded...

Me: What jobs are in the party?
Vixen: Does it matter?
Me: Yup
Vixen: *insert random mix of jobs here with no buff/debuff/refresh.
Me: No refresh?
Vixen: lol... we have a Ninja tank, you don't need refresh, just keep haste on him and us.
