Was just curious so I looked up on ffxiah.com server populations and with Kujata going to Valefor we gonna be at 17,774 "Active" characters! Total characters on servers with inactive gonna be 96,517. Don't know how accurate this is but, Lag much? :)

By way of comparison, Odin and Bahamut (the two locked-because-they're-so-full servers) stand at 10,140 and 9768 "active" characters respectively.

Not to worry, the people that lost their name will quit after a month or so anyhow, so you'll be back to your 700-1000 people online in a short period of time really.
