I prefer to imagine that someone will now do that while a group of people are trying to pop Despot. Who am I kidding, I'm totally doing that when DangerThing is trying to pop Despot. I just hope the FoV manual up there has something relating to killing dolls.

HS, I strongly recommend using a melee zerg to beat that assault. Preferably you'll have at least one MNK since Hundred Fists tends to interrupt almost all his spells.

SAM is fine too, get mekiyo all up his ass and it'll die just as quick. He really doesn't have much hp, it's his spellcasting and the rune weapons that wreck you.

Well, I was sailing in the keys all week, so blame me! :D


We beat the king with RDM WHM PLD SAM DRG BRD. Earthsday was our friend.

Except our BLM/BRD person went emo and has subsequently decided to quit our static. Two to go and she gives up because it has taken so long. /sigh

At least I found a martial gun in a bazaar.

I'm waiting to see if they finally do that RDM frontline buff they've been touting for like a year and a half...

That's okay, we'll just invite the WHM to main-heal in merits instead, and avoid the whole problem.

Not that WHM wasn't already a superior healer if played half competently.

Whatever they end up doing to modify RDM, I'll still be putting my flag up to horde merit points for my newly dinged 75 COR. :D

Time for some campaigning to hold onto my medal and get the last 13k I need to unlock Snake Eye. Put 3 into Fold already...I'm so pumped.

I think it'll take 6 months for people to figure out what to do with all the WHM changes...my mule is a 40WHM, but I don't plan on taking it up much higher anyway. My main WHM is only 25 (;;) so this might make the climb more interesting at least. Next projects (along with meriting the crap out of my COR): WHM & RDM to 40

The ones that started as polite, discreet attempts to help people in tells that turned people into ranting idiots? You know, like the one where my pearl was shattered for not "Letting the whm open the chest for better loot."? Or the the "Kevles stop casting burst 2 at the start of the fight!"? Or the "WTF?! You killed yourself and 3 other people by pulling when I could have done it death and link free!"? (and volunteered to do so far in advance!)

Yeah, that's what I've been considering. TP with iron, slug with steel as usual. I have like 9 stacks of iron i kept for sync parties. I can't afford to tp with steel. Also, I try to go to every besieged I can and barrage/TP with regular bullets.

Slight aside from this: how did I manage to level 2 of the most expensive jobs in the game? I really need a reliable source of income...

I have a kris. I love it. I just need to learn to level cheaper jobs for a while.

I want some Skadi's Jambeaux so I can start running around soloing stuff.

a.k.a. throwing gil at stuff until it dies. JoF takes 5k. :D
