Hello everyone. For the past couple of days I've been thinking of stuff to do in this game other than leveling and questing, and that's when I remembered Ballista. I've never actually done one, and I don't even have my license yet, but it's something that I want to do. I've heard lots of good things about it from several people, but have any of you actually fought in one? If anyone here is interested in doing a Ballista match, we should look at the schedule and look for games that some of us can participate in together. It's probably more fun to compete with people you've actually talked to before, and we can discuss the match afterwards ^^. This is just a thought, but if anyone's interested we should do it.

Ballista is lots of fun. I've only done it once and got wrecked. My party didn't have a chance we had a whm, rdm and me as the blm. agaist 4 melee nin, 2drk, and war. i believe that is what they had. Anyway pretty much the whipped me out first then picked off the other two. Even though it sucked at least we scored 1 point. The whm actually got there with invis and snuck one in lol. We couldn't do anything but it was lots of fun. And if we could get a bunch of people on this server on it at one time it would be a blast. I think teams of 10-15 would be awesome and tons of chaos all over the place. So hopefully with this post we can set a time and date that windy can rule all of vana'deil :P.

my highest lvl may be only 30 but sure if you get enough people to come out to this at once im in and ill bring 10 guys with me.
Would be fun to see how much a 50 blm can pull of on a mb after the rest of his pt thrases me to peices with ws'

The best Ballista matches are when there's at least 15 to a side. Usually I find this to happen often during late night Ballista match with either an unlimited level cap, or a level 60 cap. Reason? Probably because more of the higher-levelled Japanese players partake, and Japanese players seem to enjoy actually playing Ballista more than non-Japanese players.

Out of all the times I took part, almost all of them involved a majority of Japense players. So just speaking from experience here.

Anyway, just a little advice on when to try and get to a match and partake. Doing it during non-Japanese peak hours will result in it either not happening, or there being barely any people involved -- 6-10, more than likely.

We should definately try to set a time to do one then. As for the level cap...I honestly don't care if I die because I'm just in it for the fun, so anything is cool. If we can get a few from here to join in on a match I'm sure there will be enough for a big game. Oh well fun stuff, just post a time that you can do it and we'll see if anyone else can.
