I'm thinking of restarting again - but every time I do I get into a linkshell that eventually dissolves into nothingness. I love the game, and love playing - just want to find a solid shell that's going to stand the test of time before reactivating again.
How long have you guys been around? I'm not really worried about the amount of people in the shell as its quality not quantity, but what are the experience levels in the shell? Do you folks have a website or anything like that?

We are a newly formed LS with returning players. I started back up back last April and saw a need for an LS that helps new/returning players get older content done. My plan is to build a community that is focused on helping each other out and build strong friendships at the same time. So if anyone wants more info send a tell in game or message me.
Thanks. What times are the folks listed above usually on? I know it's nowhere near primetime now so I didn't expect anyone to be there today, but I should be online later tonight and would like to get pearled.

We have quite a few that play during later part of day into evenings.
Ok cool. I'll look again later. Hey, can you confirm if Magilicotti's shell is dead? I notice you were listed as a sack in his thread but I'm guessing it fell apart since you have your own shell now.

Yea that's what I figured. I saw some people posting in that thread but the linkpearl has been empty for a while now. I updated it and pointed folks to this thread.

Recently returned after being off for about a year, old LS is broken and looks like most everyone I knew has gone. Need a new place to hang out crew to game with. I have lots of different jobs leveled but my main was PLD. I can play in the mornings EST if anyone is around.

The changes in game are certainly a change of pace from last time I played. Owned the game for less than a week and I'm already at lvl 45 with THF!
Anyway, mind if I join up with you guys? The game is fun but would be a lot more so with a few more players around. My character is called Poundedquarter.

I'm a returning player. It's been about a year and a half since I last played, but I have all of the up-to-date expansions. I have a few jobs at level 90, as I stopped playing right before the level 95 cap increase. I miss this game and I have a lot of game play experience. My downfall is that I still never completed CoP and beyond. I got so caught up with the Abyssea trend when I last played and my focus was always leveling, Lol.
I have lots of gear and such for my jobs at level 90 and I have been playing since 2005. I look forward to getting reacquainted with the game and having fun with other players. I will be back online in about a day or so, but I am presently indecisive on which server to transfer to. My character is currently on Siren, but I will be transferring as soon as I start playing again. I did not care for the Siren server, unfortunately. :(
Anyway, I am posting to find out which server will be best for me, based upon dedicated players who enjoy the game and who reasonably help each other. I will check replies to my postings daily to see which server is for me. Thanks in advance for your courtesy and for helping to keep FFXI alive! I am eager to get the upcoming expansion. If I transfer to the Carbuncle server, my IGN is: Toshiden (but I'm not JP if anyone might wonder, Lol). In the meantime, Take care~ ! :)

Mag here, glad you guys are finding life in the game! I had to take a break due to RL obligations, but I am glad to see you guys continuing on yourselves! I'll still try to run ye ole LS.. but that's just me! Sorry it got boring when I left.

You can have multiple Linkshells but can only have one equipped at a time. Also Linkshell pearls take up inventory space so best not to have too many Linkshells.
