After 4 years being gone, I am coming back to FFXI! I am curious as to what the state of our server is, what social/active LS are going on, who I can join.
Also, just a question about Abyssea, do I just need RoZ/WoG or do I need something else too?

Welcome back! I too am returning after a 5 year absence.I still remember the last time I logged. I was a level 28 WHM in the... Yoator(?) jungle. If I still have my LS, Sapientes Gladio, you can join. It'll be nice to relearn the game with someone. I'm hoping to be on on the 27th. I don't have Wings of the Goddess yet. Character name Vilmer. My main is THF at level... 54 I think it was.
