As the title suggests.. Me and my girlfriend are looking for a mature linkshell to join, in other words, one that is without perverts and jerks. We'd like to join one that's got plenty of kind mature people, (not "flirty" kind"), and active as well. If you've got any suggestions then please do let me know, name of the linkshell leader and linkshell name would be nice to know as well, thank you.

lol, in all my years of playin this game and having a few LS's under my belt, there has never been a moment when there isn't ONE pervert or flirtatious person in the shell. That's what makes LS's unique and compimentary; you really can't say "you can't be a perv. or too flirtatious...I think then there would only be 3 ppl in each shell, and they would NEVER talk.
Mature LS's would depend on your actual meaning...age-wise, or mentality? My LS's (I have two...OMG I have 2!!!) there are flirtatious people in them. Male and female. Perverts, not so much; but, im MY eyes, I surmise a pervert as a child molestor, or someone that likes "jail bait", or if they get too graphic in discussing things. Myself, I can be flirtatious (jokingly) if your an Elvaan male with blonde hair, or a hume male with jet black, cropped hair....cuz I think those character models are sexeh.
I think it all boils down to the trust issue. Everyone in my LS (I hope) understands that it is always in jest...and if I go over the top, they can always say it in LS, or give me a /tell that I overstepped my line. I am not against openly appologizing for my misdeed, and will oblidge to your request. I would never want to have a misunderstanding that resulted in dislike in a LS I'm in.
I am not in a position to grant pearls, but I will defintely give you the names of mine. One is PerfectFlow...Beanie and Discordia have sacks, and this shell houses some GREAT people. My other is an offshoot of this shell, and I cannot remember the name atm...we only just created it, but the sackholders for this are Endtanis and Discordia and Beanie as well...We are all a great bunch of people; very helpful, alot of fun, and it has been my honor and priviledge to be a member of both.
I shall see you in the field!

You're going to be extremely hard pressed to find a LS that is strictly mature. There's always going to be one or more people who don't always want to be as such. This does not mean they aren't as whole, but if you have to "act your age" the entire time, then you're not going to have fun in this game. Especially with the things that are required, and how stressful this game can be. You're going to need to have some sort of reliever/outlet.
Also, this does not mean, that if you find something or someone offensive, that you cannot speak with a leader and either warnings or actions will be done to ensure your game experience is not hindered.
That being said, you're more than welcome to join my LS. As Guerr mentioned it's a cross between two LS's and will house both. I am not sure if PerfectFlow is still openly accepting members, but my LS is at the moment, to ensure no one gets left behind.

Whoa, whoa, why the hostility pabs? You're taking his words way out of context. He's not being a douche. We're both just very quiet, careful introverts. We just didn't want to get caught up in a L.S. that demanded that we constantly spoke and acted wild, but a L.S. that's there to help each other out. We mainly play ff so we can play something together, but we're just as willing to be friends as anyone else, so long as everyone's given time and respect. Well sir, you're also giving us rather ample reason as to why we keep our names censored. As I said before, we're both very careful, and we don't want someone who could get upset at us for something silly and coming after us in any way shape or form. In hind sight, yes, this was a stupid idea and I shouldn't have asked him to come on here asking for a quiet LS here; it wouldn't make sense for either party to break the anonymity. In our past experiences, people have been very polite and helpful here, so I wondered if you could also help us with this. For that I apologize, and thank you very much to those that did help, i.e. Guerrand and Endtanis, and I am sincerely sorry for the confusion.
On a final note, I see how you could take that as being rude, however, there's no reason to be getting upset like this and half-swearing at us. I believe we both could have made some better decisions about this, and I'm sorry you feel that strongly about our shyness?

Even though, to you, we're a "forum full of strangers", the reality is we're more apt to help you get the shiny stuff you want in game than the "game full of strangers" you're currently playing.
The forum is a community, your LS is a community (And is always only ever as good as your worst member), & FFXI itself is more of a melting pot.
