Official Help Request Thread [Bahamut United]Follow

Hello! I, Catastrophe, have leveled my blm to 10 and would like some help with doing some quests in Sandy to build up fame for the drain scroll quest. Be it help farming bats in King Ranpererres's Tomb with my 22 THF or showing me a few other quests I can do. Please note that as of now I am extremely short on gil. (A few failed BCNM 20 - Wings of Fury attemps with you funding the whole thing food/medicine wise hurts the wallet.)

Any help will be greatly appreciated. ^^

cheaper and quicker is the selbina quest Only the Best, and has the added bonus of giving bastok fame too

ends up costing about 12 gil each time you complete the quest if you buy millioncorn at rainbrows

I loaded up my whole inventory for a few trips from sandy to selbina and had max fame in Bastok and Sandy in about 2 hours

I wear of pair of those Frog Trousers and would be more than happy to help you get a pair. Fyuu the Seabellow is the holder of these pants and the spawn area is very easy to get to in Sea Serpent Grotto.


When i got mine we had a party of 50's and he went down in about 1 minute. Went back to try for a second pair and didnt get the drop.

When is a good time for everyone? I'm not a late night gamer my latest may be like 1PM EST on the weekend I'm in a very set routine (sleep/wake). If this weekend is good let us try Sunday sometime.

;X It slipped my mind. I haven't befriended anyone in a while (before they befriended me anyway). I have so many friend who don't ever say anything so I'm weary of "friendship" but we all know how vocal you are. And yeah I meant 1AM XD...

Looks like this coming weekend may be better. There was too much to do for promys so nothing else really got done on Sunday. I'll find out the availability of some people this weekend then make a formal thread on the subject of Zara's frog pants by tomorrow.

Well... having just attained level 50, I'm in need of help for the following:

-Genkai 1
-Red Mage AF (Perhaps too soon, but I have to take a break from leveling anyway, and I can do it now so why not?)
-Promyvion - Holla (Plus ENM >_<)

If anyone plans on doing these give me a tell or something.

And if you want something done, if a 50 RDM can help in any way, and I'm not busy, give me a tell too.

...Anyway it was worth a shot.

Monstery:

Go the the guard at the town exit. Ask him to cast Signet upon you. Run outside and start hitting the first monster you see. Chances are good that it will be weak enough that you can take it. If not you will die and run back out again. Try to /check the mobs to determine how difficult they are, and do this to each one.

You will find that crystals drop with frequency. These are your best moneymakers as a new player. Find the Auction House and sell the crystals there. Gil you earn will be delivered directly to your Mog House.

The secret to making gil as a new player?

1. Signet
2. Crystals

Do not beg for gil. This only leads to a bad reputation.

Pickaxes bought from an NPC are usually cheaper than AH

I am on the Kujata server. While looking through the forums I saw this thread and was seriously impressed. What a terrific idea. I posted about it on the Kujata server hoping someone with more organizational skills than I will start something similar. Two thumbs up to Bahamut!!

Hey, anyone want to get the new R/E versions of Emperor Hairpin/Leaping Boots? If we have a pt it will be easier to claim, but if we have too many ppl would it become too time consuming? But if we had enough ppl we could just stick 1 on each of the pop sites (right where the flys pop) and make sure we get it.

I really want those for my thf.



This is just a funny story about VE, nothing to do with requesting/giving help. My LS leader (well his other character) invited me to a pt in the dunes at lvl 16-17, so he is pulling pugs gobs and flys. So he goes out to pull a fly right on the edge of the beach and above him the name "Valkurm Emporer" is hovering in red! We had a PL so while keeping us alive he took hate easily and we just sit there wacking at him slooowly, so then the blm dies, he gets kicked momentarily to invite the PL. He kills it and we get... AN INSECT WING!

It was really funny seeing a bunch of /anon ppl watch a pt of 16-17 try to kill an NM. One of them also said the PL was "cheating" O.o

Charbydis is something you'll need an Alliance on. So you'd most likely need your linkshell.

Charybdis is like a baby HNM. It can NOT be done with a group of 4 or 5. NIN and BRD if not two of each is a start. You will need an alliance.

I don't quite understand why you want Ose because that jerkin doesn't seem like the right item for either MNK or BRD. He's not so bad but you still need a solid group.
