LS recruiting all new and returning players!Follow

I know it's been done before, and there have been many attempts to get an LS off the ground and running full throttle. Many new LS have come and failed as a result of people that don't stay interested in the game. Many people return to FFXI because there is a very nostalgic feeling when you long in for the first time in years, they have certain memories, then they quit a short time after when they realize nobody else wants to do those things. This game is not very fun by yourself.

Retrospect is a new LS that is recruiting ANYONE who is coming back, or starting FFXI new. You are not expected to "play the old school way", just expected to be positive, and look at building a fantastic team in the LS. You can level up any way you choose, it's your $12.95 a month. As an LS though, we will be doing all types of events from Nation missions, COP, ZM, TOAU, Assaults, and eventually would like to get into things like Dynamis, Limbus, HNMs and Gods. There will always be help available for any low level content that is needed as well such as SJ items, job quests and AF runs. We have 5 people that started the LS and have the same mindset, and want to build that great FFXI experience all over again.

I really enjoyed my time in FFXI when I played those years ago, I look forward to doing it all over again and trying out what I missed.

We've grown over the past week, and have a total of 14 members now. A mixture of players that have returned or started new again. We've also got interest on the server from people looking to go through alot of the FFXI events that they may have missed.

I as well am returning after three years and feel so far behind and lost. No friends. No linkshell. It's like starting all over from scratch. I am willing to change servers. I have a lvl 75 Smn and Blm and very willing to help and make friends. :)

Just joined Retrospect yesterday as a returning player, used to have multiple 75 jobs.... it's fun as hell to be back again and I'm having a blast with over 30 people at all times in the shell. Really recommend this linkshell :)

Apologies, I haven't been watching this forum very closely over the past month or so @.@

Just a heads up, due to a loss of leadership, we have repearled and are at DoubleBrew now. For the most part, our team of officers has remained them same; We still have open recruitment for new and returning players.

I think the biggest change is that many of our members have gotten a job + to 99, and we are getting more involved in raid-type activities - We have a weekly static dynamis run, There is a group doing Nyzul Isle runs (and I'd be interested in getting more of these statics up and running,) we are getting storyline missions done, and doing a lot of ABY NM fights during the week.

I'm an extremely old-school player who's very recently returned to the game with my wife, who is also an old-school player. We've returned after an extended hiatus due to the birth of our two children but are very interested in the game and would like to find an active, positive LS to join. :) Let me know if you're still accepting new members.

we've had great response in the past couple weeks, and many of our member base are leveled for endgame, and are looking to focus on that aspect XI; for the time being, we are limiting recruitment to players level 75+ with an interest in Aby, VNMs, Reive etc etc and other endgame activities.
