It's been years since I've stepped into Vana'Diel but all of this FFXIV business has got me itchin' to return. Unable to reactivate my old Content ID (not that I had much to my name back then anyway; level 36 RDM? What'll that buy ya?), I went out and purchased the Ultimate Collection. Pretty spectacular deal for ten bucks. Here's hoping that I'll get to experience more of it this time.

Odin was my home way back when and while I still feel a bit of that loyalty, I think with this new account I should choose a new server and I think I'd like to step into Asura for a spell. Maybe find myself a slice of role-play, though I'd settle for meeting some friends to play and chat with .. maybe help me wrap my head around some of the features that have been added in my absence. The things I've read about so far sound exciting.

So, yes. Another 'returning player' topic. I wanted to start putting myself out there while FFXI updates just under twenty-thousand files. At least it'll give me time to study-up.

It feels good to be back already.
