Hello, hope this thread is helping some people out, I have made some good associations using it, hope other people are as well. I was just thinking after reading the post above ^ with the high level player looking for gold ingots at a price cheaper than AH, when an idea hit me. How often do you need some high level help, but don't have much in way of gil? You can either spend a whole lot of time asking for free help, wait for friends, post on here (basicly waste a bunch of time)......OR perhaps items or crafting services could be traded for help.

For instance lets say I see the poster above has completed all ZM missions, and I think he'd be the perfect help I need in putting together a ZM5 party. I see he needs gold ignots, I go to item look up, see how to acquire these, and if it's feesible I farm/ grow/ synth them for him. Of course I would send him a tell in game or a message here arranging the trade i.e. stack of gold ignots for his help in ZM5 - 8 with 4 ingots to be traded at each mission he helps with. I don't know... just an idea as FFxi is a game based around gil, but sometimes the barter system could be imposed more than it is. Another example...say I'm level 48 but my goldsmithing (or any other high level craft) is at 95, "sure I'll make you that item you need if you give me the materials for no charge....but your a55 is helping me get my 50 cap items."

FYI - Any item you examine (view the description of) will appear in your auto-translator. You have to hit tab and then scroll to {Items} at the bottom of the list. This has a curly-bracket around it meaning that the list is not automatically updated in the auto-complete (where you type part of a word and hit tab). Go into the Items list and select the first one on the list and then delete it. All the items you've examined up to that point will now be in auto-complete and you can type, for example, "mill" and hit tab for "{Millionaire's Desk}".
