Spectral JigFollow

Maybe the recent buffs to magical sneak and invisible have just spoiled me (no; they definitely have), but Spectral Jig could really use a buff. I can see why SE might want to keep it's duration inferior to its magical counterpart, given its other advantages (free to use, 2 effects-in-1, no magic aggro), but those slight conveniences are hardly enough to justify just how unreliable Jig is. 9 times out of 10, it begins to wear off within 15 seconds of application.

Please please please please, at the very least raise the minimum duration for Spectral Jig.

No it doesn't. It's minimum duration is 30 seconds, same as it's recast. You will never at any point be without it. Is it annoying that you have to put it back up every 30 seconds when sneak and invis are 10 mins? Sure, but sneak/invis aren't free, instant, aggroless, apply both at once, and unlimited usage.

A 3 min duration like the old sneak and invis would be nice though.

Yeah, could use a buff... or if nothing else, make it so that the boosts on DNC AF/relic affect it more. >_____>



He said "begins to wear off" though, meaning when the first warnings come up, not when it actually wears off.

Getting the first warning means wearoff will occur 20-30 (random) seconds later. Counting that extra time, the minimum duration does fall at around 30 seconds, like you said.

Actually each warning takes ten seconds, and there are 3 warnings, so min. duration is about 45-50 seconds before completely wearing

But ya, an extra min or two added to the duration would be very nice.

You don't need to cancel invis, just sneak, the action of the jig will wipe invis.

Err... yeah, that's what I said in my original post, then the guy said you don't need to cancel sneak and invis individually because you can just cancel the entire jig at once, or something to that nature.

How is it possible for you to have missed that he was replying to my original post? If you are going to try and make someone look stupid then at least know what you are talking about first.

The sneak/invis doesn't always wear off at 10 seconds after the 3rd warning, though. It's randomized to a 10-second degree, starting at the moment that you would receive the 3rd warning. It could wear off 2 seconds after that warning, maybe 8 seconds... you never know.

To put it more simply, once you receive the 1st warning, it will last anywhere between 20-30 seconds before wearing off.

On very rare occasions, you will get a sneak/invis that wear off at the extreme front or back end of that 10-second randomization. In the former case, you will only get 2 warnings (and it will wear off right when you would have gotten the 3rd warning). In the latter case, you will get a 4th warning (and it will wear off right at that moment). I have personally seen both of these occur only once each during my entire time playing this game >_>
