Please can these NPCs sell Katanas and Great Axes and any other weapon types they dont currently.
Not everyone is doing magian and to do most types and then miss a couple off isnt very fair

Honestly i dont really see the point to this.

Perhaps you're not aware of this little fact since you play diffirent jobs, but the weapons available from the dominion tactician arent actually used. Infact, pretty much every single one is incredibly gimp even with the best possible augments on it. Easy to gain regular NM drops trump them pretty badly, and even quick and easy elemental magians are better than any of them. More damage, more stats, more added effects.

The only good use they have is NPC'ing.

I mean, i quite like the DMG:35+8 dagger, but that's still just a placeholder for when i finally go out and kill something worthwhile. Any common dagger drop > dominion augmented weapon. Pretty much the same goes for all the other weapons.

Agreed. I would rather see better augments on Guerdon armor, but the fact that several weapon class are just left out really stinks.

Actually, some are very good and I'm currently using Dagger, Scythe & 1H Axe from them (as a War I finished Magian GA first), but having nothing between Byakkos-Vermeil ~~> Uko's/Widowmaker is an insult.

Would expect more complaints about this and the Guerdon armor honestly, its like a cruel joke when you get some of these items.... I mean, come on, you kill the top Mobs in the game & go to get your reward & its WAY WORSE than armor you wouldnt wear 15 levels ago !! +1 ATK -1% DMG taken ? Really !? resist charm +1 ? ouch.

Seriously almost believe this is someones sick sense of humor at work.

Wow, they're placeholders... you mean like every other weapon in the game until you find something better? Of course they're not the best, but they're not nearly as bad as you make them out to be. Are they better than a finished magian with the proper stats? Of course not. They're certainly better than a half-finished one though. They're an option and options are good. An option for when you want to break the monotony of your magian trials and do something else. An option for when you need to do something on a secondary job that you haven't had time to work on extensively. An option for when those superior "common drops" aren't so common. For a long time in FFXI's life we didn't have nearly enough good gear options in a lot of categories. Now we have more and I think it's great.

Some people have 4 of their 5 slots already locked up with other trials. I have a pair of augmented daggers I use on thf +8 damag and +4 crits. Its a decent dagger and better than anything on AH, due to limited stones I dont have time to go get "common" drops as you call them. Since my ninja can use them I keep them on me for the ocasional procing with Cyclone/Energy. They are not end all be all weapons but they are good for the moment.

They're decent transitional weapons if you can get good stats. I messed around with the club that came out with +6 STR on it via augments in Campaign, and decided to sell it afterward and try for something better.

If nothing else, they are entirely disposable, and it's nice to get a bit of cash for them if they come out lame.

I would like to see rewards from dominion sergents add a seal wildcard as a possible reward. Keep the same rewards as before just add a wildcard that can be turned in to Dominion Tacticians for a seal of your choice.

For example: sandory completes dominion op and gets a ferine seal: legs, next reward is blm seal legs, third reward is rng seal legs finally fourth reward is wildcard seal: legs.

I want to be able to exchange multiple trophies up or down at a time, instead of labouriously doing one at a time. Takes forever.

Yeah, the trophy thing is pretty much a must.

In general, I want more Dominion NPCs littered around so people can EXP on things beyond a mob type closest to an NPC. It'd help cut down on some congestion. Some Ops are rather non-sensical in their acquisition, like how in Ule you'd think the Op for Golems would be right there at Conflux 7. Instead, it's from the NPC over by #6 4 grids over that's roughly a 3-5 minute hike unless you wanna keep conflux hopping.

Still want all the silly confirmations reduced for snagging an Op, too. Put the mob type, stars, location, and all that into one prompt.

Wildcards would be random, not by choice. Also, you'd at best get only one each hour.

Better way would be to have Shinryu award a body seal matching your current job. (Drops to inventory, rather then treasure.)

That way, you can do it with a party the normal way, or brew it solo. And you can still do those dominion op alliance spams to get cruor.
