People are just plain callow with faddish intentions. No matter how coherent, logical and/or sensible your posts are, people will ridicule them just for your stance, a previously unrelated stance and/or simply being you.

If only your posts were coherent, logical or sensible.

Yes, Take advice from Alma...who has never made a single friend on this forum that I know of.

I'd believe that if the people I teach didn't only need to be told the procedure. I guess I just work with far more gifted individuals than you. Sounds like you've got learning disabilities. Should I start using the large tags to make it easier on you?

As an aside, I decided a couple weeks ago to keep my politically-driven posting to a minimum for a bit. I've noticed in that time that Gbaji's posting has dropped to almost nil.

I didn't even really notice until you mentioned it. Congrats.
Homework, you remind me a lot of myself in some ways. I've posted here for nearly a decade, and I can tell you this:
You cannot take anything here seriously. If you do, it will combine with all of your currently existing non-forum related rage, and you will find yourself lurking the forum waiting for one of their IRL get togethers to happen, planning to show up yourself so you can shoot them.
Oh god, I can hardly breathe.

Basically, you can't be any worse than Alma...so work on it and try again.

As hypocritical as it may seems, don't bother "taking advice" from anyone unless you're concerned about being accepted by "the cool kids". If you simply DGAF, then just be yourself. IMO, that's a much healthier solution.
The word of the day calendar strikes again!

Oh yea. Homework, I forgot to mention. If you were female, all you'd need to do is post in a way that imitates normal human behavior and you're gravy. It's probably not too late to tell everyone you have a vagina.
It's called a v-card.
To the op, head over the asylum (forum=4) and start a friday/weekend thread. It has the same effect of showing up to a staff meeting with a box of donuts. People wont' really like you more for it, but they'll pretend to.

I apologize that all of you are too dense to understand that "Barkingturtle" referred to the presence of an internet persona, not the warm body of my loving and sweet husband who is at the computer two feet away from me.
That's okay, though, I don't mind elaborating. At least in this way I'm still fulfilling the agenda of his penis.
