I watch most of my TV online because I can't be arsed to be in front of the television when the show is actually airing. Also, a few of the shows I watch like Dexter air on premium channels. When I actually get around to watching these shows, a lot of the time, uploaders load these videos to Megavideo. Unfortunately, Megavideo has a time limit on how much video you can watch before you have to wait around 54 minutes to watch more content.
Here is a Firefox add-on that circumvents Megavideo, Megaupload, and Veoh's time limits:
Illimitux http://www.illimitux.net/addon/ It isn't the most polished website around (the explanation of the add-on is obviously written by a person who uses English as a second or third language) but the add-on works. After installing it, you pretty much only have to follow five steps to watch as much content from these sites as you want:
1. Open video.
2. Click "Remove Limitation."
3. New page will load (or window) that contains the video on their website.
4. ???
5. Profit.
I've only used it a bit so far but it seems pretty solid and has a solid four star rating on Mozilla's site with over 2 million downloads.
Admins, if you end up moving this to to =5 can you wait a few days? I know quite a few people here don't browse the TV/Anime forum and they might appreciate this. Edited, Nov 3rd 2009 9:23pm by Paskil
