I finally gave up on lolString and purchased another Mary's Horn. :( And here was I actually thinking that well geared enough, I'd be able to put Nursemaid's harp to good use.. sigh :(
On the plus side, I've been trying to at least use Nursemaid's for Horde, and Mary's for Foe. :D So far it's been working great.

By sheer luck got Minstrel's coat. Was helping a friend camp charb and got a random tell asking if I needed it, afterwords won thf-brd duo and got my friend his joy-toy. Its starting out as a fun night.

Not a great accomplishment but was pretty happy I was able to break 3k on campaign this weekend. Hit 3280 on Saturday and hit 3370 just earlier today. So much more fun then merit parties, with lots of afk goodness whenever it fancied me. Been going as BRD/DNC. Campaign is just lovely.

the camp is super safe and easy to find. D-12 and your target is the Mamool Ja Sophist. spam songs and apply sleep when needed, but pull your prey away from the bounder to avoid links. you could zone the bounder and start after it despawns.

Oh and I found out I love Hymnus for Campaign. Hymnus, Horde lullaby a bunch of things attacking the fort, run around for a while, die, RR, use Hymnus again, rinse and repeat. Funnest 2k exp ever in one campaign ^^

32-38 in two parties @ Garlaige, IN 4 HOURS. First was an all JP DNC cannon where I was a Min/Mad bot, lulz. DNC, DNC, DNC, BRD, NIN/THF, DRG/DNC [WTFLOL@ last 2 jobs - JP never cease to amaze me with crazy sh*t I've never tried before that rocks the house.]
32-34 in 1.5 hours.. o_O;; then JP's disbanded, and I made one with all NA's. Turned into a roaming style/merit party where we roamed the upper floor killing everything we could, me puling 2-3 mobs at a time, sleeping them, dnc's healing. All I did was Min/Mad/Lullaby, and head out again. Chain 6's and 7's, lol. Ended when I fell down the hole, LOL. Funnest PT I've ever had aside from all DRG burns.

Still haven't seen a single drop from 5F or 6F Madames in many many attempts. Usually farm Zhayolm with 5-6 people, kill 5F and 6F, then wonder about the value of the last 80 minutes. Once the Gjall BRD gets the Gambison, I look forward to not doing Zhayolm outside of Battleclad for a long time.

I think the most success in Salvage drop is to be diverse in what you are after. I found most people get the most frustrating experience because they are obsessed with specific pieces. 35 drop rates are bad, but when you average over a few 35 runs, something will drop -- may be not what you wanted the most, but it is possibly your second choice, or an item your friend wanted. At least that will make you feel better that you get a lower priority choice, or your friend gets something nice.
It is also very grinning and dry if you just keep going after the same NM. For the same reason, if you are making a Salvage group, be ready to diverse what the people want. Having 6 people all want Morrigan Robe... you are just making yourself a very hard time.
The Zhavolum 35 NMs have relatively good drop rates compare to other. I think I saw them drop something like 1/4 or 1/5 times. Bhalfau 35s are the toughest -- often you don't even see the NM at all.

Our drop rate on 5th floor Madame is about ~30% (13/37). Just seems like everytime I go and I'm up for a drop, it drops nothing (or lolgote), or it drops the gambison but there was someone there who could lot it over me (who promptly bounced from the LS after he got it -.-;). It can definitely be frustrating.
Overall, my Salvage LS has completed 71 pieces, and I really shouldn't complain because 3 of them are mine <_< but Dastanas are such a waste XD (7/12 lumbers... taking my time XD XD).
