I wonder if anyone else noticed how good dapper mac's magic resistance is? Not just water magic resistance but overall magic resistance.

I know his movement rate is annoying but his magic resistance more than makes up for it.

For instance I soloed Iratham and other abyssea NM's that spam magic and had no problems.

In fact he is now my go to pet for heavy magic using NM's inside abyssea

really? I bought a stack on a whim and have been struggling to use them on anything cause he seems to deal such crummy damage, and yeah, slow walking, not cool.

This is an interesting tidbit if is true.

I'll double check dapper mac,s magic resistances. I was all out of Mac when I tested the other pets. However, are you sure its not just the level correction?

This has fooled a lot of BST testing in the past (including myself) for magic resistance. The level correction makes lower level mobs do much less damage on pets than players.

I highly doubt it is level correction. But I have not used him outside of abyssea so I can't be sure.
