I am at a loss when it comes to atma for Abyessa. Anyone have any thoughts or suggestions?

Uh, thats all I can really think of. You wont use much more than Ducal + Razed + Apoc, swapping apoc for situational things you need. This is determined by your playstyle, of course. Don't neglect Abyssites as well. They don't improve your pet, but thay can make your abyssea life a whole lot more simple.
