A friend need his discharge for his vnm weapon. So how does this strategy work, have 2 thfs and once fistule spawns his pet, each drag one away while Ill continue killing fistule. What im worry about is having flee not up when he spawns his pets again. Can the pustule pets be drag away far enough without flee?

Yes. You should be able to do it yourself. You just need to pull them off before yuly hits them or you will never at any point be able to remove them from yuly. Although with 2 axes, moogle hat, mounted champion and ducal guard you don't even need to drag them off, if you don't mind using biscuits. Though needing 35-40 kills, that's a @#%^ton of biscuits.

Mellowy is awesome, now.

Pustules move a little faster than normal, but due to bad pathing they can still be outran without Flee and deaggroed if you manage to keep enough distance for 30 seconds. A source of movement speed boost helps (whether it's from gear or something like Atma of Ambition), but generally the most important thing is to be as far away as possible when pulling the Pustules.

It doesn't matter whether they hit you or not. They only hit for like 80 a swing, and mounted champion heals you faster than they hurt you. You'll be full health before you even get back to pull the second pustule.

I found that even w/ 100% pdt set pustules would take hate from fistule.
Even with me in the melee Fistule's name would constantly go yellow, so you are at threat of NM being stolen. (I had another groups of Japanese competing for claim while working on rng's empyrean).

When your pet is switching tagets all the time, it takes alot longer to kill fistule, AND its harder during those few hate resets to keep fistule focused on pet.

I died one time when fistule was at 2% health. He hate reset, and I snarled it, but then I took hate again next hit. I got gravitied and slowed, and knocked back. I was too far to snarl, couldn't get close very quickly, timer for healing waltz was much slower and same for snarl.

I recommend kiting away the adds. It makes for a smoother, quicker fight. having 8 targets for your pet to rotate thru is a lesson in tedium.

A few whacks of the axe or a rampage and I had no problems getting Pustules off Yuly once hed hit them.

Smoother, yes. Quicker, no. I recommend kiting away adds as soon as they hit Yuly, which can take a fair while. Before that you can safely leave the first set out until Fistule is at %60 or so. You certainly dont need to kite adds away once Fistule is below 50% too, at that point just pop meds and smash him. Subbing NIN is required to avoid a lot of the AOE.

So yeah, kite away one set always just about, 2 if things go pear shaped. Anything more, yes you really are slowing yourself down.

Yeah but then they hit you once and go back to yuly instead of following you away to be depopped. If yuly gets a good hit in, they'll never hit her hard enough to ignore her completely. You can feral howl it, but that's only going to work once.

Also, only do it when the zone is empty. If there is ANYONE else there they will steal it. Every. SIngle. TIme. It's like courtesy is dead, just because there's a time limit.

Sometimes yes, if you get unlucky with the hate reset. Generally no though, if you hit them hard enough.
