It looks like LDL took an even bigger lead in the #1 DD jug race with the low charge TP moves relative to FF. Good.

I got a good one:

Was fighting with Funguar Familiar and used Dark Spore. He was killed two hits later. I immediately called another FF and snarled.

Checked my charges. There were none.

/facepalm

why dont you understand why they butthurt?

SE put a new ability in, obviously didnt test it, and doesnt do what it is supposed to.

why wouldnt you be pissed.

patch after patch, SE proves they think "in theory this programming should work"

problem is it hardly every works, and SE programmers are the bottom of the barrel when it comes to brains.

When they added Ready they also updated the tier I Sic merit recast, now instead of just lowering Sic recast by 4 seconds, it also lowers Ready recast by 2 seconds (which I can only assume means recharge times), meaning charges would be gained every 50 seconds with full merits.

Enjoy, if that's even possible for any of you.

So...from various posts...

This is SOOO much HAWTER than before!!! I like it!!

Wasn't it 2 minutes per charge before? This is MUCH better. I'm glad they revised it.

I might have to take my BST up again soon.

Quote:
hell yeah so far this is sounding like one heck of a win, not only do we have to wait half as long to use a lot of the moves but we can actually chose the move also.

After playing around with a few jugs and trying it out I have to say I like it. The charges are sufficiently low on most commands and the starting out with 3 charges thing is a total win. I think its gonna be pretty useful and hopefully will spice up my jug rotation a little ^.^

Anyone noticed if they are any stronger than they used to be? Double Claw for 1 charge I am happy.

Yeah, I'm so looking forward to trying to solo the avatar fights again. Its doable most of the time but this should make it much easier. Bubble Curtain followed immediately by Scissor Guard XD pretty nice.

Anyone try a Zoolater Hat with these? Would be pretty nice to use in Sky if there are no Flamingos around.

Nimble snap hit for 492 to 642 on EP colibra, for a 1 charge move this is pretty good.

Wow, who could have saw this being a great update before when everyone was whiny and @#%^ing crying, and I hope those JP bsts are going emo about their EXP loss right now.

Ready is awesome, BST got several new items, and there's @#%^ing swordchucks now. Add in the potential Evolith upgrades, and this was a @#%^ing awesome upgrade to BST as a whole.

Quote:
Very cool. This certainly brings a new dynamic to BST.

Wow, you're right. That's so much butt hurt going on.

Anyways... in response to your crass point:

The only real complaints in this thread are that the jug pets aren't listening, and aren't doing tp moves when told to do so, and are instead using tp moves that the master didn't select. The entire point of 'ready' is that the master picks what move the pet is to use, and when to use it.

No one is complaining about getting 1 charge per minute.

Learn to read and understand before you make generalizations about everyone else.

well these problems must be quite random to players,
as i've been using ready without any hitches.
Spamming scissor guard if i am solo tanking a campaign mob with carrie,
or spamming big scissors / bubble shower if someone else is tanking

The only time i had the wrong Tp move go off was when i had activated big scissors and the mob died before it went off, as soon as i sent carrie on another mob she used bubble armor.

Not sure how these problems can happen to one player but not another.. hmmmm

p.s. loving ready

I spent some time farming/hunting for a herder's subligar today, using FF.

Never had my selected TP move not happen. But I did have some cases of TP moves being used when I hadn't used Ready. (And most of the time I hadn't; everything except the one time I fought the new NM went down fast enough that there was no point except for testing.) Once I set my pet to fight a skink and had it try to open with Dark Spore, but the skink had run out of range.

After seeing my pet do TP moves with no command from me a couple times, I put an echo line for pet TP in my fight macro and started watching closely. I never saw it happen when I hadn't used Ready sometime not too long previously. But when Ready has been used, it seems like pets are following something like the regular mob AI for TP moves. I'd usually see something go off between 100 and 150 TP. But at least once when I hadn't used Ready, my pet got up to 300 TP. Also, the random TP moves didn't use charges.

The main problem I think I have with this is that the only way to see Pet TP is with a macro. Having to keep hitting something so I can tell when my pet has enough TP is a pain, but since it can't be used in advance like Sic could, what other option is there? It'd be better if it at least showed TP in the Ready menu.

I'm currently fooling around with "Ready" and I've noticed 2 things. I can't seem to find a macro command that works for it, anyone else notice this?

I know it might be a bit late, but. if you wanna macro some WS moves for your favorite pet you can do this.

/pet "Name of move" <me>

EX: /pet "Dark spore" <me>
