hi all im a elv ranger and recently tried the fov NM Eraser in sky
and got -3 str -1 vit and +3 agi on my behemoth ring i cant decided if this is useful or not if i offset it with a flame ring any suggestions??

augmented behemoth ring questionFollow

i been doing a lot of behemoth rings also since they are cheap and npc for roughly 3.9k. out of all the tries so far my best and closest to a near perfect ring is -2 str -2 dex +4 agi and +4 eva. yup i was yelling at the tv afterwards.
STR is one of the last things you wanna take from your RNG. Imo STR > AGI for almost all situations of RNG, even with gun WS.
Get one with +STR and/or +AGI without taking away from Racc or Ratt your in the clear. Defensive stats are meh, most RNGs are /NIN anyway.

After reading this thread I got the idea to augment behemoths. Not expecting much because EVERYTHING I've augments sucks.
I got:
4 str -2 dex -2 vit.
YAAAAAAAEEEEEHHH. I went to Ro'Meave and soloed it as Blue Mage.

Nice ring. I was thinking about doing that too but my augment history sucks. Not a brave man when it comes to that.

The augment system is a bunch of crap... it was the beginning of the end of this game for me. I'm still playing but not nearly as much as I used to and I can see the end is near.
It just completely defeats the purpose of a MMORPG for me. I like to know that through hard work and patience I will eventually build my character, make it stronger, get better gear, etc. This augment BS is complete luck. I've read threads where people augment an Aquillo's Staff and get like MAB+5 first try (or something insanely good like that), and others who have dumped like 20 Aquillo's Staves and got garbage back each time.
Anyway, the Behemoth Ring crap is just another example. I spent a metric ton of gil getting my crafting up and buying materials to sign two Behemoth Ring +1's back when they were epic, now you can augment a lolnq and make something superior, but only through dumb luck. Fail.
