Endgame activities?Follow

This is somewhat of a returning player thread but maybe a little different then the norm.

I played FFXI off and on for years, with the last attempt finally getting a job to 75. Well, after I finally hit that milestone, there was nothing I could do. I couldnt get into any of the endgame (at the time) linkshells for sky/sea/dynamis, so eventually I left the game. At the time, endgame wasnt really my goal - I felt it was to "hardcore" but with nothing to do I stopped.

So I jump into WoW, once again playing off and on for a few years, this time however, I do get into an endgame guild and now I run my own raids - 2 days a week, its not as hardcore as I expected.

I guess what I'm saying is I do enjoy endgame activities, I know there arent any raids per se like in WoW, but what type of endgame is there?

I've seen the abbysea(sp?, but what else does the game have to offer? And, how difficult is it to find a group of people to do endgame with?

I'd hate to start from scratch, reach max level and my gear or experience be to low for people to take me seriously.

The games in mid-way between upping the level cap from 75-99 too, and come 99 lots of new EG events will come in. There is huge content to experiance, lots to learn (which keeps the game fresh) in this game so have fun if you join.

Once the level cap goes up again, Dark knight and Samurai is where its at!
