I saw "Hurt Locker" the other night. It was surprisingly excellent. Just a simple story told well with a few dashes of action and one awesome cameo.

The first part is pretty good, imo. It's fairly accurate at describing how unoriginal the Jebus story is.

The other stuff, not so much.

I would watch 300 with angels . . . Dogma is an excellent movie though.

Said girlfriend (previously and hereafter referred to as 'The(Teh) Girl') started playing (again, but not since 2004) and I finally got serious and got sky access and half-Campaigned my ass to 75, leveled /SAM... tons of sh*t. 90% of my FFXI achievement has been in the two years since we met and started playing together, even though I've been playing this same character since October 29th 2003.

anyway, if you're a pen and paper old school RPG'er, exalted is the @#%^ing supernova of gaming. it's beyond retardedly epic in scope. it has tits and is on fire.

So 48 hours after I took my beautiful, deliciously fast, hyper-powered PC away - and after 48 hours of having my sh*tty, old, lag-box Dell connected to the same connection, I started to get problems again. This time instead of DCing me from FFXI, FFXI was perfectly fine. MSN was fine. AIM was fine (those two were fine on the good PC though) but webpages were completely borked. Well, they became borked suddenly with nothing happening to change anything. Ping results, instead of before (when it would send signals, and only recieve about 50-70% back) it was completely not able to 'find host'.

So, I changed ethernet cables (from green to blue!) and now internet is perfectly fine again.

So right now I'm cursing myself for being stupid and giving into suggestions of letting others look at my beautiful PC without thoroughly testing everything possible, and am going to contact them at 9AM tomorrow to see if I can get my PC back without having any charge (I gave it to them at about 4:30pm on Friday - another extremely stupid thing to do).

So I decided to rewatch the entire peter jackson LoTR series, that was fun. Reminds me that I'm called Faramir and I still haven't leveled RNG past 37. Going to do it anytime now, honest. Held back by the fact that I don't enjoy the FFXI style RNG at all, but I suppose if I throw enough gil at it I might like it!.
