Lol, thanks Nila. Ah, racking is the process of transferring from one container to another to clarify the batch, I brewed it like a month ago =P. Looks quick and interesting though, and as I'll have a spare foodgrade pail tomorrow night (as the mead's going into a glass carboy), might have to give that a try

This is what I'm referring to by racking. Only with mead, it takes 6 months, AFTER 1 month initial fermentation. It had better taste good damnit -.-
Edit: Also, to anyone interested in using that link Nila posted, or any of the mead recipes in the forum in my sig, using a slice of bread to help the yeast is kinda risky. Could be tiny amounts of mold, bacteria, or wild yeast in the slice of bread, which could completely throw everything off. Much better to use yeast nutrient, which is ultrasonically imploded yeast fragments.
