So I finished my rdm sub and spammed bar spells to 209 today. So Im all ready to cap shield! I ran up the tree to korrigans and realized two things: Stoneskin doesnt overwrite itself, and Im not nearly as as invincible as I though id be as pld/rdm. (could only handle 1 korrigan indefinately)
So, I am looking for the supposed lv 71-73 chigoes that are listed in both Bhaflau thickets and Wajaom Woodlands. I used the caederva mire ones (62-66) to level parry on Thf ages ago and it went exceptionally well with their insane attack speed and piddly damage. Pld/Rdm would just do it WAY better.
So, where are they? Wiki lists 5 pops in each zone, but no idea where they are.

The chigoes listed for those areas are spawned by Marids when they use a TP move and assist the Marid. You won't find any of those just floating around on their own unfortunately :(

Head down to Den of Rancor, near Temple Zone, where all the black Mandies ("Pucks") are. Pull like 3 to the zone and watch your skill skyrocket. There's nowhere better^^

Silly question probably, but does Den of Rancor get the moogle superpowers? I know a couple of areas do not; and having martial mastery would obviously help if it's up.
Yes, Den of Rancor gets it.

Yhoatr jungle entrance, last time I checked. I haven't seen many black mandies running around the Paintbrush door.

If you look at the Yhoator map here, you'll see the entrance to the Den on the east side of the map. It's in (J-7). Conveniently, it's actually much easier to access than the portion of Den of Rancor that's beyond the paintbrush door. This path leads around to the back entrance of the Temple of Uggalepih where the Carby Mitts trigger ??? is. You can use this zone to escape easily if you run out of resources and get overwhelmed while skilling up.
